Horrible,

I reported their truck had expired license plates to SunRun from August 2021, and paper plates on top of that. They said they would offer me power during replacement of panel and I had to argue with electrician whom stole power from P.G. & E when they should have provided power for themselves via a generator. True that refrigerated food will keep for 6 hours without power, but they said they would provide me with power during panel upgrade. Workmanship of installed panel was poor, but the city inspector whom inspected the panel said its up to code and limited to pass inspection on code, Not poor workmanship. Like in a recent review, this panel was to support solar from SunRun which I also canceled because they used this contractor for their work. It was my experience, others may have had a better experience with both companies, but not in my case.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We were told we would get our electric panel replaced to support our new solar. Instead of doing what they were suppose to they decided to create a whole new panel on the side of my house and making my original panel a sub panel. They didn't discuss this with us at all. Now I have 2 huge boxes visible from the front of my home! They could have at least communicated with us and discussed our options. We were also told they would be arriving between 8-9. They showed up 30 minutes late. After being told it would be a 6 to 8 hour job at the 8th hour almost 9th hour I asked if they were almost done. The guy replied ""we would be done faster if you want to help."" When the lady called me and I told her what my problems were she tried blaming everything on PG&E and told me to paint the box! I have never had such horrible service from an electrical company. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THEM! very poor communication. Very poor service.

Ali finished my new addition ( new detached unit at back of house). He did a project with pride, passion and dedication
Everything he built was thought through and perfect. He built from foundation to framing, electrical wiring, redesign our drainage system and the outside siding was done to perfection.
Inside unit, shower tiles and floor tiles was also very beautiful. We thank Ali and his team for a wonderful unit well built.

We have used Neko Electric for a wide range of electrical projects (new outlets, wire installation, diagnosing panel problems, etc.). Ali is incredibly hard working, takes pride in delivering high quality work, and is very reasonably priced. We have used a number of different electricians, tradespeople, and general contractors, and Neko Electric is one of the best. I highly recommend Neko Electric.

I'm working for a general construction company. On Friday 6/12/15, we called and invited Neko for a walk through at 11AM on next Monday 6/15 for a project that we are bidding on in Santa Clara. She promised to show up on that date.
On Monday, we had waited for her until 11.30 AM and she didn't show up. On the other hand, I tried to contact her and asked for the reason. Instead of apology, she blamed me for telling her the time for the job-walk too tight. She couldn't contact or ask someone to come. Moreover, she asked us to wait for another 30 minutes so that someone MIGHT come to the jobwalk. What a ""nice attitude"" I got from her.
I don't know how good they are but keeping promises is one of the basic skill in business.

The business is very shady. We submitted a request at Home Depot for electrical system revamped at our house. The work that they did was less than satisfactory. We had to use another electrician to redo the work. Neko Electric is in the business of bid low and hope for changes. Be very careful when dealing with this contractor. The two ceiling fans that they installed have never worked right, They make clicking noises as if they were to fall off the ceiling. Definitely not recommended.

I am very impressed with Neko Electric. I used their services recently to get an island range hood installed in my kitchen (I bought the hood myself online). This work was not for the faint of heart, because the kitchen did not have any pre-existing exhaust! These guys had to put a hole through the false ceiling, crawl through the attic to get to the hole, find a nearby electrical outlet and create an outlet for the hood, add wooden beams around the hole to hold the hood, and finally install the hood. These guys did the work meticulously, from making sure that all the measurements were accurate to ensuring that everything was cleaned up along the way. Before they left, they cleaned up the entire area, patched up everything and delivered a finished product with nothing else to be done by me. While they were there, I showed them a kitchen cabinet which had essentially been destroyed by the previous owners by putting an electrical outlet right in the middle of the shelf! These guys immediately got to the task, moving the outlet to the back, patching the big rectangular hole in the shelf, and smoothing it up to the point where it looked like an original undamaged cabinet. All this while maintaining a good sense of humor and a great attitude. Kudos!

I found Neko Electric through Home Depot's installation referral program. I needed help installing a ceiling fan I had purchased a year ago at Home Depot, and decided to finally take the plunge. Ali and his wife came by right on time and did a wonderful job installing the fan in a complex situation that required complicated rewiring and a slight modification of the remote control switch.

Ali is very thorough and hard-working. I would highly recommend this business to anyone I know and to my fellow yelpers, of course.

I had to have a new circuit put in for my bathroom lights. Neko Electric was great! He showed up on time, was very reasonably priced, and did the job quickly and professionally. He really tried to minimize any holes that he would have to make. He made two holes (one in the closet and one behind the stove) to access the panel. I highly recommend him.

I used Neko electric to do a bunch of work for my home - put recessed lights, pendant lights, fan, my home theather wiring, plasma tv mounting etc. They were pleasant and cordial to work with, timely & punctual, did a thorough job, and also followed up on small items that I needed their help on. I would highly recommend them for work and will use for them for follow on work for sure.
