Nate came and did some minor electrical work for us in our new (to us) house, including some good detective work on a switch/light situation that defied logic. He fixed a few things and gave us guidance on how we could fix a few other things ourselves. I appreciated this, since many repair people try the hard sell. We'll definitely use him again.

Hands down, the best contractor I've ever worked with to improve my home.

Nate did a panel upgrade, ran new electrical to and through an outbuilding, installed our car charging system, put up motion lights and fixed a bunch of outdoor outlets for us.

Communication was easy, he had a great attitude and attention to detail and was very personable, as was his crew man Eric. I really wish all contractors were as professional and easy to communicate with as Nate.

Nate was just great. He pulled out some old knob & tube circuits from our house and installed new wiring and a new sub-panel. His price was not only reasonable, he came in under his estimate because it took less time than he thought. The inspector noted that Nate had done a ""really good job"" on the work. The other thing we appreciated was that he ALWAYS left the rooms he was working in clean at the end of the day. Very professional. We'll use him again when we need more electrical work.

Nate is the kind of professional you always hope to find. He is skilled, personable, and offers good advice. He is willing to work with you to define the full scope of the job and explains what he is doing. I tried to switch out the light plates and outlets in my Newark house and ran into trouble with a 4-way circuit, and Nate came out and cleaned up my mess is less than an hour. We called him back for more work on another issue before our project was done. We liked him so much we continue to call him for our electrical needs in Albany and he always comes through for us.

Ditto all the other good reviews. Had Nate work on a recent outlet addition in a somewhat complicated building structure. He was efficient (took 75 minutes versus initial estimate of 2 hours), was easy to work with and found a simple solution to what could have been a difficult job.

I used yelp to help me find an Electrician for some work around my house and saw Nate's Electrical had many good reviews. I decided to give him a call, left a message, but heard nothing back. Strike one. I called again about a week later and he promptly returned my call. We scheduled an appointment for him to come out about 1 week later to bid the project. Appointment day comes, no Nate. He called me about 3 hours after he was supposed to come by and said he forgot we made an appointment. Strike two. I figured I would give him a chance so we rescheduled and he showed up later that same week. After he looked everything over, he said he would send me a bid via email within the next week which was strange because the other 3 electricians who came by gave me bids before they left. I said okay and he went on his way. After a week has gone by, still no bid. I email Nate and ask if he maybe sent the bid to the wrong email address but no, he responds and says again, he forgot and will get it right over. I wait another week, still no bid. Strike three and a fourth for good measure.

Im sure he is a nice enough guy and from the reviews, he probably does good work but the customer service is horrific. From a small business stand point, all you have is your word and your reputation which after this experience, I have to say both are not good. Bottom line, I would go with someone else.

Nate is Great! He wired about half of my shop for a New spray booth we put in, and let me tell you he did an awsome job. Everything he did was so neat , so clean and very proffesional. He brings everything he needs to tackle the job and does it efficiently. Nate did extensive electrical work on my last house during a huge kitchen remodel about 6 years ago. Nate just left after troubleshooting and fixing some electrical issues in our older home. He was quick, professional and very reasonably priced. Nice, nice guy. We're having him back in a couple of weeks to do some other work. You can tell Nate enjoys his job and loves the challenge. Highly recommended.
