Bernie was our electrician and he was so helpful, professional and did a great job. The price was reasonable and the job was done quickly. I even made a couple of changes after Bernie had already placed boxes (which is not cool, I know) and he just altered it and said, ""no problem, lets get it done"". Nothing but good things to say. Great communication from office staff as well. Thank you for making this painful process much easier!!

I called for a minor electrical issue and received excellent service. Knowledgable staff. On time for appointment. Reasonable rates. Will use again.

Can I leave more than 5 stars? Nick is certainly deserving of at least 10.
My boyfriend and I just recently purchased a house in Livermore and are in the process of remodeling it before we move in. My boyfriend and his Dad wanted to do most of the work themselves, but only have a basic understanding of electrical. After running into some issues (surprise, surprise) we called N2 Electric and Nick was able to come out the same day to give us an estimate. He also gave my boyfriend and his Dad some tips on doing the rest of the electrical themselves, which was supposedly ""easy"".
Nick fixed our original issue, found and fixed some safety hazards, and also rewired our electrical panel and breakers so that it was up to code. He even came out a second time to finish work that my boyfriend was not able to complete on time.
When the Livermore building inspector came out to inspect the electrical as part of our permit, we passed with flying colors. He asked who completed the work and he knew of Nick, referring to him as one of the ""good guys"". I couldn't agree more.
If you are looking for a good electrician, skip everyone else and call N2 Electric. You will not be disappointed. Nick is very skilled at what he does, has an amazing work ethic, and is also the nicest, most helpful person I have met in a while. I cannot thank them enough for everything he has helped us with!

Terrific. we were installing a charger for electric car and we were on tight schedule. Deanna got it arranged quickly for estimate and the work and Nick was wonderful. These folks deliver ! I wish they were closer to me so I could call them for all my electric work. They were a pleasure to deal with, don't think twice, just call them

Seriously, as good as it gets when you need an electrician.
I required two security lights for my home. I attempted solar but realized they would never be strong enough, so reached out to N2E for help with hard wiring a light.
I had never met Nick or DeAnna before. My history with electricians is not good when it comes to performance, communication and quality. I read about them on Yelp and decided to take a chance as they're local.
So very happy I did. They are professional, timely and the communication was off the chart. Anyhow, need a good electrician or electrical provider - don't look anywhere else.

Clearly Nick and his wife have been in the electrical business for quite some time. Nick fixed several fixtures for us that a different company wired incorrectly.
Pricing is reasonable and competitive.
Highly recommended!

N2 Electric was chosen by Ecotality to install my Nissan Leaf EVSE (charger). They were prompt, professional, honest and very friendly. The whole process from site inspection, pulling a permit (the rest of the wiring was there, needed for the charger install itself) to installation was very professional and high quality. I had a terrible experience with the previously assigned contractor to do the same job (greed) and was worried - I couldn't have had a better experience with N2 Electric.

I had N2 install a BLINK EV charger for my Nissa LEAF EV. This was through the Ecotality, Inc. program. Nick, the owner, did the install work at my home. The work was professional and high-quality. He even found and corrected some mistakes in my sub-panel that the original builder's electrical contractor had made.
The initial communication was fantastic and they handled all the permits.

We engaged Nick and N2 Electric in the fall of 2008 to completely redesign our off-grid solar electric system. I had called many local solar contractors and found that they either didn't have the experience or didn't have the desire to take on projects outside the city limits. By the end, I had two choices: a contractor out of Santa Rosa who wanted to do all his estimating by phone before he took the job, and N2 Electric.
Nick was at our house within a few days of the first phone call and it was obvious from the first that we had gotten lucky. Nick was engaging, knowledgable, and empathetic. He took our mission of 100% power reliability to heart (it's a big deal when there's no PG&E to back you up) and sent us back a system design that reasonably balanced power output with equipment costs.
In addition to the system design itself, Nick acquired all the system components (panels, batteries, inverter) and managed the installation itself -- no small feat when working on a shale-covered hillside with a 30-degree slope.
We've been running off this system for the past three years and could not be more satisfied. In fact, we have a new electrical project on deck and Nick was the first (and only) person we called.

Please don't waste your time with this company. I met with Nick, who is the owner of the company. We discussed our addition plans for our home and I had copies of our electrical plans that I gave to him during our meeting. We also discussed putting solar on our home. He was suppose to follow-up with me and never did. When I finally called him to find out where he was with the proposal he said he was too busy to take on our job. I really dislike contractors who waste my time. So it's up to you if you want to try him out.
