They do not return calls! They lie! They have no problem putting solar panels up and taking your money and then not hook you up to the power company! I will be contacting a lawyer to resolve this problem. I have been going back and forth with Good Leap to try and get this problem resolved for over a year! Please save yourself and do not use this company! If I could leave negative stars I would

I signed up to have solar system installed in our house July 2022 The original company I sign the contract with went bankrupt and they left the job half done and closed their door for good.
After that, My Finance Company GoodLeap LLC hired Myers Electric Company to complete the project. This was about six months ago, at the beginning they showed up couple of times and did some small things then they stop working they never called me to give an update they don't answer my calls and they don't reply to any of my messages.
They are completely Unresponsive.
I don't know what to do

Final results, the solar project is completed. Turns out they weren't completely to blame. They were contracted for the installation but were not paid in full by the now bankrupt solar company Zenernet. When they finally told me and I was able to work with them directly with my bank.

As some people said, Myers was a subcontractor so I did not have any direct communication with their office staff. I believe there were many middle people involved with scheduling of appointments for the people to come out. Personally I felt the communication was a bit lacking across all parties (Myers to the company I was in communication with). This may not fall entirely on Myers but in general I felt like they should have set up a schedule of the whole timeline from the beginning. It took over a month from when the solar panels were on my roof to the final tie in and me pulling teeth for dates for them to come out. The communication broke down when Myers staff did not tell the company I was in communication with that the final inspection and the tech needed to be at my house the same day. If that company knew, I felt like s/he would have been able to explain the situation better instead of being stood up.

In regards to the labor, the guys (there were 3 or 4 teams) who came to my house to install the solar panels, meter and fix some other stuff, they were all great. They all came early in the morning and were respectful of the property, cleaned up the mess. The last guy, the technician, stayed on site until the final inspection took place to ensure everything went smoothly. The tech took his time to explain a bit of what was what (e.g. these are the solar energy breakers, these breakers are with SCE, etc) even when he could have rushed off since he was going to hit the infamous LA traffic. Five stars for the labor.

I can't comment if I need their assistance in case something goes wrong with my solar. For the actual labor work was great and I would have given this a 5 stars but I feel like their communication could have been better.

The reviews are true, total garbage company. I personally did not contract them to do any work but my builder used SunPower (another ass company) and they subcontract to Myers. Called them twice to come out and fix two panels that are down. First time the guy said he didn't have a tall enough ladder to get to my roof and that he would have the office reschedule. 2 weeks go by not a damn peep. 2nd time I had to call, some guy picked up and sounded like he just woke up. Rescheduled for a tech to come out. The day of repair, hours go by and no one shows up, texted Myers and they told me ""oh the tech called in sick"". Like no sh*t, you couldn't give me a heads up that he was gonna be a no show? Good job wasting peoples time. Do yourself a favor and don't use these clowns.

I believe the installation of solar panels were done in a timely manner, but when I needed help to verify something with Myers, the rep on the phone hung up after making a nasty remark. After I filed complaint through BBB, the company tried to put blames on their contractors and instead of apologizing for the poor customer service, they said I misunderstood their rep? There was nothing to misunderstand about hanging up on any customer when asking for help. This company may do 'okay' installation, but I really doubt I am going to get any help for the next 25 years!! I made sure to let BBB know about Myers' response to my complaint and asked for the lowest rating in BBB site. Alas, since I filed a complaint against this company, I was told that I am not allowed to rate it myself!!

Beware!!! BBB rating shows A but it also says ""Not BBB accredited"" and the reason for this rating reads, ""Failure to be transparent about ownership, location, or products/services offered""

Had I known this information before I signed a contract and paid money, I would've NEVER EVER hired this company!!!

Please check 'BBB rating and the reason for the rating' before you sign a long term contract with ANY company!!

Absolutely worse company to deal. They only want to upgrade and make money on you, sell you new electrical even though your system is running fine. Sun run told us they will fix the solar. So quick to take your money but just like Sun Run they dont about you after. Their ""partnership"" is a real swindler-type business. After first visit, they have not come back and wont return my calls. Buyer Beware. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Myers was the subcontractor for the installation of solar panels on our roof. They handled all of our contacts and the actual installation in a very professional manner. The 3 gentlemen that came out for the install were very considerate, friendly and easy to work with. The install went perfectly and the cleanup was great. When the work was completed and after he reviewed the work with us I offered him a tip for doing such a great job, but he kindly refused the tip and thanked us for the opportunity to work on our house and keep them working. I can't imagine how our experience with Myers could have gone any better!

This company is a joke. They are not organized. They installed my solar panels but super long delay. August 4th First day one of the installers called out so there was only 1 guy. He couldn't finish so they had to come back a week later. August 9th they came to finish the job but some of the panels were moved to a different part of the roof without my approval. The technician said they would be back the following week to move them and also paint the conduit lines. LIAR!!!! They never even called me to comeback out. Final inspection was scheduled today October 9th, 2 months after the install was done. The inspector showed up but the Myers technician didn't so now it has to be re scheduled again!!!! Inspector also left a note that conduit lines should be painted and labels should be marked. I requested for that to have been done 2 months ago. I can't even get a hold of anyone to talk to. Stay away from this company. Even worse is that Im already paying for solar panels that can't be turned on.
