From hindsight, probably I shouldn't have vacuumed the car while charging it at the same time. 12 amps from the charger plus another 9 amps from the vacuum is not what the circuit breaker is designed to handle.
Called several electricians but only Chris picked up the call, on a Sunday afternoon. Chris said first of all, he charges $240 for a trip b/c of Sunday. OK, fair. Then he said most of the time, you could troubleshoot the problem yourself. He talked me through the whole process then YES, the power is back on.
Thanks Chris. You are a genius and a nice person. For the line of work I do, I don't charge my clients for something probably they can handle themselves. We are glad to have you around.

Called to have some electric issues fixed in my house. He seemed really busy, told me he couldn't do anything for the next month but for $225 an hour he can come over next week. Didn't really sound like he wanted to help or to get my business. Sorry things are going well for you, don't feel like you want to help so I'll be going somewhere else.

This guy was so nice and patient on the phone. I blew a fuse at 730pm while house sitting for a friend and called him up when the bedroom breakers didn't turn anything back on. He walked me through finding the main circuit breaker to turn it on so as not to charge me for a visit. He was very upfront about what he could and could not do for a viait and what his rates were too. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about the service encounter that I had with Chris/My Oakland Electrician. Part of my house was without electricity because the wall sockets were not working. Chris came to my home, after hours, diagnosed the electricity problem, took the time to explain/show me what was causing the problem, told me which entity was responsible for fixing the problem, gave me the number, and told me what information to provide.
