After speaking with several electricians I decided to have my ceiling fan installed by Marvin, and I couldn't be happier with his work. Marvin is very professional, knowledgeable and honest. He did an excellent job installing my ceiling fan on my difficult concrete roof. He brought along his helper Alex and they worked for almost 3 hours properly installing my fan. While he was at my condo he also fixed another electrical issue I had from a faulty tv installation job. Marvin completely exceeded my expectations. Both jobs were done perfectly and look great! When you live in South Florida, it's a good idea to have ceiling fans installed in the house. While we had installed ceiling fans in almost every rooms in the house, we have not had the fan installed in our living room.

Because our living room ceiling is higher than all other rooms in the house, and there isn't any box our electrical outlets available in the ceiling like the light fixtures in other rooms, and for the longest time we thought it may cost us an arm and a leg to get a professional electrician to come in and have the fan professionally installed.

Recently I received a spot-bonus from work and we thought, it doesn't hurt to get a few quotes and see how much it actually would cost us to get the job done. My wife started doing some research and found a few places from Yelp she thought it's good. At the end, this place gave us a very decent quote and we decided to go with them.

The technician who did the job for us was very professional. He called my wife before he arrived and arrived at the time he promised. We sent them a few pictures to get the quotes, after the technician looked around and see if he can do the job cheaper, he still honor and did the job as quoted.

Originally I thought the job might be tricky because the top of our ceiling is not flat, it is inclined with slopes going in three different directions. Somehow they still was able to manage to install the fan right in center of the ceiling, and was able to hide all the electrical wiring inside the dry walls.

From the price we were quoted to the completion of the job, I thought it was very decent and honest, and they did a terrific job. Now our living room is got nice breeze going and should help us keep the electrical bill down. When we are ready to move on to our kitchen projects, we are going to give them another call.

After getting a dozen quotes for a really straightforward NEMA 14-50 installation for my Tesla charger (ranging between $500-1500), I came across My Electrical Genie on Yelp and figured I'd give them a shot because of the good reviews.

When they quoted me only $269 based on the photos I sent them of my breaker box and where I wanted the outlet to be installed, I figured it had to be a mistake. I actually called again twice before they came out to be sure there hadn't been a misunderstanding. The technician was incredibly helpful and friendly, and came out at 8:45am on a Saturday in order to accommodate my hectic schedule. He was done in less than 90 minutes, accommodated all my requests, and humored our 4 year old who wanted to watch him work and ask questions. When I had a look at the breaker box later, I found that he'd moved some of the breakers around and labeled everything clearly.

To be honest, he could have charged me double what he did, and I'd still be thrilled. Don't hesitate for a moment to hire these guys.
