Since writing the first review about My Electrical Genie, I am even more impressed with Marvin! As we keep buying and using electricity-dependent products, we keep calling his company.

Throughout the years, Marvin's done a lotta work to help beautify our house. His work holds up and he is always earnest in giving us his all. On our property SO FAR, he's:

Bathrooms - made outlets for an electric kitty litter box, Toto washlet bidets and powered window coverings

Dining room - made outlets for the tv, powered window coverings and electronics

Kitchen - replaced overhead lights and light switch

Office - replaced ceiling fan, installed ceiling lights on a ceiling that had none, made outlets and helped us handle the wires better

Laundry room - removed the ballast lighting and installed a ceiling fixture

Backyard - installed outdoor outlets with covers, security cameras, and a pool light controller

House exterior - installed outdoor outlets with covers, security cameras, and garage sconces where there were none and to the exact height of the sconces by the doorway

I can't share anything about my husband's secret lair or our Gomez-and-Morticia-themed playroom - mostly because they don't exist - but if they did, you know who we'd trust to improve the space!

Sometimes you get lucky and you find a great electrician. I feel that is just what happened to me. I guess I have 2 wishes left.

Did the quote over the phone, hired them to do the work to add a electrical outlet for the EV charger. Scheduled as promise and keep you posted on ETA. Nothing fishy, everything straight forward as quoted, work is professional and done promptly. They even come back to fix some issue as promise without me even pinging them back as promise. Definitely will reach out to them for other future needs.

Marvin & his wife did a phenomenal job on our chandelier replacement!! We had many other estimates before him, yet they either charged too much, or were unable to complete the work due to the raised ceiling (12'-15') and not having the proper equipment, with one estimator saying I 'would have to rent a Genie hydraulic lift if there was any chance of completing this job'. Marvin showed up with nothing but a step ladder under his arm! It was also great that his wife was there, as my chandelier is a raindrop chandelier, with many crystals that had to be individually attached. This was great because while he was up at the top of the ladder, she would make sure the crystal string was the proper length, pulled out, and would place in a makeshift pulley system he would take up each crystal one at a time. Such phenomenal work for an exceptional price! Hands down the best electrician you will ever find in South Florida! If your looking for an excellent electrician, stop now because you just found him!! :))

We have been using them for a few years now. They are very reliable and professional. He has done so much work at our home. Everything from hanging fans , moving light switches and even putting a plug for a generator. Could not recommend enough.

Marvin is the best!! He worked on a few electrical issues inside our home and we are hiring him again to add an outside breaker (with extensive wiring) for our pool heater.
