I needed a 240v outlet installed in my garage. Also wanted 4 additional exterior outlets, 2 on my house and 2 along my fence line. I called multiple electricians to get as many bids as I could. I had a few really high bids, I had a few electricians who didn't even come out to bid they wanted me to take pictures for them. I also had one who ghosted me twice.
MTE Electric was my very last bid and I have to say the best was saved for last. Mike was the most knowledgeable out of the bunch. Mike did a great job explaining different options on the outcome of the exterior outlets. He gave me two separate estimates. Speaking of estimates his estimate was the most professional estimate I have ever seen from any contractor. He emailed my estimate and it was detailed out from labor, individual parts needed all the way down to the screws. His estimate was not the cheapest but it was very competitive. I am confident we hired the most knowledgeable, qualified electrician. Mike did a great job with the install, everything came out clean and professional looking. I was so pleased I actually added another outlet before he left. So happy to have such a great electrician added to our list of contractors. Don't hesitate to give them a try.

I called mte and left a message I got a call back later on. I was told they would not even be able to come out and give me an estimate without an $85 service charge and $85 an hour after that. I let him know somebody already came out to tell me what was wrong with the problem and I could even send him the report but that was not sufficient . This did not fit my situation at all seeing as I need to build the invoice out to a third party. If you need simple home electric I guess they can do it? but if you need any larger more complex work you might want to go elsewhere.

I had an issue with my kitchen and dining room lights. It was a complete loss of power to the 2 rooms, without popping a breaker, caused by melted wiring. I searched for an electrician hoping I could find a good honest company. To make a long story short, I found the right company. A very good electrician, that was fair, honest and very knowledgeable . I will use MTE Electric again and will refer anyone I know. Thank you MTE Electric.

Prompt, friendly service. Would highly recommend. Came out same day to help us with some lights in the backyard of our new home that weren't working. We were having a party the next day so it was imperative that the lights were fixed beforehand. Thank you for your help! Will be contacting when we're ready to replace all our exterior lighting.

This guy was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and nice. He explained things as he was going through them. My problem was a lot more intricate than it needed to be because the person who set it up was not an electrician, and it took Michael a long time to figure out where things were. He as very reasonable in his pricing and worked very hard to get everything done. He even worked on things he didn't have to just to help me out. I definitely recommend him!

We recently completed a kitchen remodel and Mike was our electrician. He was part of the planning process and worked with our contractor daily while we got the plan for the lighting perfected. Mike is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He had suggestions for every type of lighting we needed. Mike did some work for us and we decided we wanted undercounted lights in our kitchen. The day that was scheduled for installation, MTE never showed up.
We did get him on the phone and he said the parts were not available to do the job.

First. It's bad business not to communicate to customers that you CAN'T do the work. (He said he did call, but we have no record of a Call)

Second. It's poor planning to wait until the day the work is scheduled to check if the parts are available.

Third. No alternatives were suggested

Fourth. If MTE wanted to do the job it was no way to do business.

Fifth. I can not recommend MTE for electrical work.
The lack of follow through and the fact that WE arranged our day to have the work do is not acceptable.

Understand...if you do hire MTE it's a hit or miss if they will show up!!!!!

then two weeks pass, I call you and you remember me and tell me you got really busy and youd be back in touch with the estimate very soon.

Now its been at least two months and no call back.

Wow. Im either not your type of customer or Im very glad you passed on the job.
