I requested an electrician to replace an outdoor outlet, and they answered my add. I thought they were licensed electricians. They did not tell me they were handy men. After Benny had been working for a few hours, I could tell something wasn't right. I asked them if they were licensed electricians and they told me no, they were handy men. I told him to stop where he was because I had asked for an electrician and that's what I wanted for this job. I offered to pay for the supplies he bought but they should not be answering adds for electricians, it's misleading. He told me twice that they were not going to charge me anything which I agree with. Later, his boss kept texting me trying to get me to pay for two hours of work even though I had to hire licensed electricians to redo his work and complete the job. I will definitely ask up front, to be sure, from now on.

After consulting several people I called Mr. Quick Fix. Jay was great. He did great work and scheduled the job as I needed it. I had to have flooring installed before my appliances were delivered. After he installed appliances he then did my light fixtures and replaced all faucets in a bathroom. He also did several small jobs for me including installing new screens in doors. If you need it Jay can get it done.

I hired Mr. Quick Fix to repair two leaks in my windows and to repair ceiling damage caused by one of the leaks. He charged my more than $1,000 for repairing the leaks. I told him to hold off on the ceiling until there was a good rain to make sure the leak was fixed. It took more than a month for a heavy rain and when it came the leak was as bad as it ever had been. It took him two days to respond to my call. His first excuse was that it was the roof, which made no sense. His next excuse was that it must have been a new leak which also made no sense. His next ploy was to charge me more money to diagnose the problem (something that should have been correctly done initially). He then said that he would have to ""give up on this effort."" I told him that some measure of refund would be appropriate. He never responded. Now, I'm out $1,000 and still have a serious leak. This is obviously a man who will search for any excuse to avoid making things right. USE HIM AT YOUR PERIL!
