My ceiling light burned out, and the wiring was pretty messed up. I checked Yelp, and Joni got back to me quickly with a $140 flat rate quote. He was even available the next morning, which was great since it was a Saturday. I mentioned the short wiring and that he might need to go into the attic, and he was upfront about how extra wiring could cost a bit more.

Joni showed up right on time and got to work. He checked things out and went up into the attic. He found a connection buried in the insulation without a proper junction box - which he said wasn't up to code and could be dangerous. He explained the situation and went to the store to get the right parts. He initially brought back a plastic box, but was happy to go back and get a metal one when I asked. He also checked the wiring for the other rooms while he was up there, which was really helpful.

On top of fixing the wiring and making everything safe, Joni also gave me a new LED ceiling light! He said he had an extra one from another job. That was a really nice surprise. I was really happy with how professional and thorough he was, and how he went the extra mile. I'd definitely recommend Mr Home Service.

We contacted Evgenii to repair a pocket door that had gotten off its rails and refused to budge. He was punctual and communicated well prior to arriving. Jonni has been fantastic! We just moved to a new home 1 week ago and came across Jonni via another handyman. Jonni arrived promptly for a specific electrical task which he completed perfectly. We were very satisfied with his workmanship and in talking to him further, realized that he is trained to do several types of jobs!
