After 22 years in the corporate landscape, I grew frustrated with the politics and their influence on people's lives, including mine. By treating people as they deserve, taking pride in your craft, and providing excellent service, life is less complicated and much more satisfying. 65% of my residential clientele comes from referrals from satisfied customers who recommend Mr. Fix-It™ to their friends and colleagues. My clients experience immediate satisfaction upon completion of the job, and I no longer deal with lengthy return on investments or large capital expenditures. Labor costs are not charged until the customer expresses satisfaction with the work.

Mr. Fix-It™ has been ""fixin"" things for around 25 years. I created decks, patios, and similar structures for friends and their networks, often being paid in various manners. I frequently received tools as payment; once, I was even given a video camera for building a deck. I usually completed these tasks on weekends or after my regular job. About 13 years ago, after getting a reciprocating saw for building a deck at a friend's house, my wife pulled me aside and said, ""Listen up, Mr. Fix-It, your next free job is building a patio cover for me, and your rates are going to change."" Thus, Mr. Fix-It™ was established.
