He was very knowledgeable about how EV charging works, and what the different options were, and helped me pick the right configuration for my needs. Mr Fix It is the best! We have had him do everything from installing a smart sprinkler control system to fortifying my entire pantry shelving. The rates are excellent and the quality is amazing. Wow, what a complete scam. He has helped me on a variety of things at the house and most of them have been good...but the biggest scam...my ring door bell. He keeps coming out ""fixing"" it and it stops working a few days later. Comes out again, same thing. He doesn't stand behind his work, so he has been out over and over and keeps charging me. I'he has now charged me over $1000 just to get a ring door bell setup and it still doesn't work. The ring door bell is not the issue as I have had them replace numerous times, when the real problem was his work.

Edward is an honest, accomplished and friendly electrician. We had an unexplained power outage in the garage and rather than charge us $500 to replace the power box, he offered a solution that he said would likely last 5 years and only cost his base rate of $135. He could easily have just told me I needed to replace the box, and I would have believed him. His motto is to treat his customers the way he'd like to be treated.

He's also fun and a great conversationalist (but also considerate of your time). I'll be hiring him again soon.

Unfortunately, our kitchen drawer happened to break right around this Coronavirus outbreak so we haven't been able to find any handymen. My mom ran across Eduard and he said he'd charge $100 to come by and repair, but if we go to him, he'd only charge $25 and it would only take 30 mins-1 hour. He lived about 10-15 mins from us so we told him we'd be there by 12:30 and when we got there, we texted and called him multiple times and got no answer. We even rang his doorbell. We waited 30 mins and then left. 3 HOURS later he texts and says ""shit. I got busy in garden. Very sorry."" Wow! So damn unprofessional and unreliable. Complete waste of my time and gas to go to his place to not even get the job done. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

This guy is awesome. Talked me through how to address a problem I had installing some new lights, without even coming to the house. Worked like a charm and didn't cost me a dime. I know who I'm calling the next time -- Mr. Fix It!

He may be considering the changing of his name for his business to Mr. almost fixed it. He claims that he told me upfront that he did not have matching outlets this is simply a lie. His reviews seem to be going down over the years and he is trying to distract people to tension from that by insulting some of his clients and get their eyes to look elsewhere. If he chooses to do quality work at a reasonable price in the future he may flourish.

Edward is professional, personable, and an excellent electrician. I've had him out to my house twice and both times he has done great work. He does the job the way I want it and understands my goals well enough to suggest alternatives I might not have though of myself.

Once, I messed up a DIY wiring job and had to ask for help. Edward told me he was booked up through the next week, but then figured out that I was close to the jobsite he was working that afternoon and that he had time to swing by before his next appointment. A couple of hours later everything was working, and he even took the time to get a rather fiddly custom switchplate installed straight. His flexibility saved me a week or so without living room lights.
