Either I am out of touch or this was one of the most expensive pour I have encountered. Our home inspector said the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom was not grounded so we contacted Mr Electric. We also needed a low voltage ceiling light repaired and when they made the appointment told us they would fix both. After waiting weeks Jeff Balich came and said they do not fix low voltage lights in the house, only yard lights! I specifically said inside ceiling light. So, he looked at the ground on the tub and said it was already grounded. So no repair, 10 min stay at the longest and wanted $387.00. What? Be warned. Like I said either I am out of touch with rates or have just been ripped off.

We just moved into Gaffney from NJ and our new home needed some additional electrical work. After many company reviews, we choose Mr Electric of Upstate and contacted Pam. She called early on the scheduled date to say the team was on their way and arrived just before 8am. Matthew and James were professional, courteous, communicative about the work and cleaned up nicely afterwards! We had alot done that day and even though we threw a few more things at them, everything was completed before they left. Pam stopped by during the day to check in with the team. It was great to meet this awesome business owner. She obviously takes great pride in her company and her staff. We discussed future work to be done and know that we will call Pam and her team for our future electric needs! Definitely a 5 company!!

Mr. Electric has been my company's go-to for electrical work over the past two years as we expand our warehouse and add new equipment. I have been most impressed by their depth of knowledge and thoroughness in planning complicated projects. I.e. They've never surprised us with ""unplanned"" expenses or completion date extensions.

I was their very FIRST customer and I still use them today. Having moved three times in the last 7 years, I have called on Floyd and Pam at each and every house I have owned for electrical repairs, landscape lighting and to install a whole house generator. It is a huge relief when you can trust a contractor to come into your home and repair things according to code. Peace of mind is important. I feel confident they will do what they say they will do and they have always quoted the job before they started with no surprises. I trust them like family.

Mr. Electric charged us NINETY DOLLARS to provide an estimate for removing one circuit of knob and tube wiring. That estimate came in at $991. I was able to hire an independent contractor who performed the same job in about an hour for $275. Save your money, people.
