I will never call anyone other than Mr Electric for my electrical needs. I was faced with an unsafe fuse box and an expense that was very unexpected. Jeff, Marty, and Justin were AMAZING!!! They truly cared about my situation and took care of the work immediately as well as worked directly with the insurance company to ensure I could sleep safely at night. I'm giving 3 stars because they were available at short notice, while everyone else went to voicemail. UGH!! Anyway, Jeff came to my home telling me my whole home (older home - exterior wire) needs to be rewired. I'm thinking it's going to run around 4 or 5 grand .... Jeff said, that it's VERY EXPENSIVE and I'm like ookkkkk! The electrician and Jeff showed up 2 days later, he (Jeff) helped with the claim process through my insurance. I received a text from my claim rep for the total charges and I'm like O' my gosh!!! Never would I thought that type of job would cost so much. Thank GOD for home owners insurance. About the level of stars is because I was told the job would start at 8 am and I woke up a hour before time and they didn't get started til 10. I would recommend and I'll tell that person to get several FREE ESTIMATES!

We had issues with our 6 smoke detectors and Dave came out right away and then Brandon finished the wiring. Two weeks later we had a ringing we thought was from one of the detectors. Jeffrey came out within the hour and figured it all out. They were all wonderful, professional and safety conscious. I will always use them for our electrical needs!

Workers were great, the job supervisor did not listen to what I wanted. He also did not listen to husband. He was nice enough to let me know insurance would not cover my request. He did not hear when I said ok tell me what I would need to pay extra. I was not asking for his arm, I asked for 2 extra outlets to be changed, and for the wires to be run for camera in front and back yard. During walk though I was told at the point I was done with them in my house that 2 switches were bad. I said (really annoyed) why did you not change them? Imagine my shock they don't have them on the truck..... You have been here 2 days. No bill left with what was done. I am so mad about the outlets not being changed I will be following up with my claim adjustor to ensure they did what I am being charged for.

Jeff with Mr. Electric of Greater Naperville saved the day. He was very responsive and at my home within hours of making contact. His assessment of the emergency electrical issues I experienced was honest, accurate and very thorough. He was professional and his expertise made the insurance claim process seamless. His team included Jeffery and Brandon. Both were very nice and professional and very respectful of my newly planted grass seed and landscaping. They were also very neat and cleaned all the debris after working. I would recommend Jeff 100%.

The work was fine--we needed our circuit breaker replaced, and they did it expeditiously, and even came back and helped us with a couple of issues we had free of charge.

This is where the bad rating comes in:
They waited 6 weeks to cash our initial deductible check. We had to wait an additional week for them to pick up another issued check (because we mistakenly assumed that they wouldn't hold onto a check for 6 weeks), for them to wait another 5 weeks to cash our second check.

Now we get a text message from them telling us they need us to call our insurance because they can't get ahold of them. Now, to let you know the scope of this ridiculous situation, we had our work done in DECEMBER.

If you are okay with doing literally every step of the process for them and holding their hand through it, then by all means go for it. The electricians we got were professional, and friendly, but whoever is running their books needs a serious retraining. They should be absolutely embarrassed.

Barely looked at anything and gave me a quote for $5000 to rewire one room and a bunch of crap that was unnessesary and not what I asked for. Kept telling me I needed to upgrade my circuit breaker even though I didn't need to. Jeff must think I am stupid.

Scheduled an appointment for several items that needed attention in our house. Jeff came and was very professional. Installed two sconces, and took a look at two ceiling lights that weren't working and advised us on how to proceed with fixing those. Overall a good experience
