3/7/2024 - Mr. Electric technician worked on my kitchen light. Mr. Electric technician stated he had to use his light bulbs instead of my light bulbs. The light bulbs Mr. Electric technician used were too bright and hurt my eyes. I showed Mr. Electric technician my light bulbs are soft white not bright white. Mr. Electric technician stated the light cover would diffuse the light. The lights were still too bright and hurt my eyes. Mr. Electric technician wanted to use just one light bulb instead of two. I said no. I had to use a lamp in my kitchen instead of the overhead lights. Mr. Electric technician was to replace the bright light bulbs with soft white light bulbs. Mr. Electric technician told me there is no warranty on the work he performed. I did not hear back from Mr. Electric technician about the light bulbs instead, I kept getting calls about the electric panel and financing options. Mr. Electric technician tried using scare tactics and pressure to get me to let him replace my electric panel. What Mr. Electric technician is calling burning to the electrical panel happened in October 1995 when hurricane Opal came through Montgomery. I have the electrical panel checked often. I received no reports of problems.
4/18/2024 - Mr. Electric technician told me he didn't know what the other technician had done to the light. Mr. Electric technician did not bring any light bulbs with him. Mr. Electric technician left to find light bulbs. The light bulbs Mr. Electric technician installed were a dull yellow light. Mr. Electric technician said he would have to use my light bulbs. When Mr. Electric technician installed my light bulbs there was a spark from the light fixture. I thought the light fixture would catch fire. Mr. Electric technician told me he would replace the kitchen light for free if I let him install a new electric panel. Mr. Electric technician told me about financing for the electric panel. Mr. Electric technician told me there is no warranty on the work he performed. The repair Mr. Electric technician made to my kitchen light lasted one day then the lights went out. My kitchen lights are still not working. I am still having to use a lamp in my kitchen. I paid Mr. Electric $697.34 to have my kitchen light fixture repaired.

They was very fast to respond and show up . But the price of service are outrageous. I understand the 190 for coming after hours to just show up but a Total of over 500 to just take a few mins to replace a 15 dollar breaker is a little extreme. The service man was very nice but he was more of a salesman than anything.

We have used Mr. Electric several times. They are always professional. They text a picture of who is coming. Call to see if it's okay to head your way and show up in the time frame given. They tell you how much it will cost. There isn't an hourly rate or hidden costs. Professionalism in contractor type services has been hard to find. We will continue to use them. We have never had to call them back to redo a service once it is complete. They take pictures of the work completed and send you the pictures with the invoice. I cannot speak highly enough of them. David is the name of the electrician who has done the work and he's great.

Just moved into an older home that needed to be brought up to code. Already had a home inspection, and the guy that came out even looked at it. Then charged me $350 for an inspection. The quote was double what another company gave me... and the other company did a great job.

UPDATE......An appointment was made to install the complete Generac standby whole home generator on 12/6/2022. They said it would be the best part of 2 days to install. On Wednesday, 12/6/22 they arrived as promised. It was a very rainy day, which slowed them up, but they came back on Thursday, 12/07/2022. It went after dark, but they said the install would be done before they left.It was. They stayed until it was completely done. They came back the day after to educate me on it's operation, until I understood it fully. (Not much to it, but I asked all the questions I could think of. No one knows when the need for a home generator will come, but it will come. We went through Synchrony bank and received a 5.99% apr until it paid in full. We are most pleased with the total experience. Call them, and you will see why. Yelp reviews gives an opprotunity to add a pic or two, which I did, but I didn't expect them to be sent to their website pics with their employees and business. I am trying how to figure out how to remove them. Be safe America, and do all you can to keep your children safe. Happy New Year!!

They literally did my house and the fuses pop anytime I use a large heater this is the worst experience I've had with any company ever in my life i feel like I've been scammed out of 10,000 dollars it is just so ridiculous the experience I've had with them some light switches in my house don't even work I hope nodbody ever use this company again. The company literally stole from me and when they came back to"" rectify "" the situation the first time they charged me more money and the wiring they put in was faulty so yes the last time I told them that I didn't want them touching anything else in my home because I didn't need them to make it any worse than they already had!!!

I had under-cabinet flourescent lighting in the kitchen that had outlived its useful life and needed to be replaced with LEDs. Mr. Electric sent out a tech to do a quote. We agreed, and he procured the parts and did the install THAT DAY. Prompt, courteous, cost-effective and cleaned up after the job. I'd recommend Mr. Electric for sure!,fluorescentinstallation

I had multiple items taken care of by Mitch Davis. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained what was done and broke down the pricing. This is the third time using Mr. Electric and have been pleased each time. Also, they give a small military discount or a seniors discount.

Rescheduled twice for a simple estimate. Trying to confirm, put on hold and cut off twice. One more try (maybe) then I'm moving on.
Update: called back, tomorrow on schedule, we'll see and I'll update again.
Very friendly and helpful once we got a tech to visit. I get the impression they are very small company. Price was more than expected and we aren't pursuing at this time. Don't know if others would have better price or not.
