I called Mr Electric to inspect the electrical outlet for my dryer as it was not getting power. The electrician came out, looked at the outlet, and said it was working fine and that the issue was not related to the outlet. He charged me $49.95. I live in a new construction neighborhood, and the builder happened to be on site the next week. I spoke to their construction manager about my issue and he had one of his crew look at the outlet. They could immediately see it was a faulty outlet. The builder replaced the outlet (took 10 minutes) and the issue was fixed. I called Mr Electric back and I requested a refund of my $49.95 as they had mis-diagnosed the issue. The person on the phone took down my information and said the manager would be in contact with me, but he/she never got in touch.

I think it was the electrician's responsibility to properly inspect the outlet and see if it was providing adequate power to the dryer unit. He failed to do so, and the issue was directly related to the faulty outlet. I don't think I should have to pay almost $50 for that.

As other reviews state, their prices are definitely insane! There is a $39.95 service charge but quite deceiving since you might be left with the surprise of a big bill ($550). The customer service team was responsive but left a bad impression for rescheduling my prior appointment to three days later and misplacing our address. While we were told the tech was ""in the neighborhood"", he arrived 50 minutes late to the prior scheduled time the tech arrived. I ended up being late to work waiting for the tech to arrive and we had to reschedule our morning plans just to find out we were going to be stuck with surprisingly expensive bill ($550) for less than 30 minutes of simple service that only partially fixed the problem. Do not recommend!

Yesterday's AJC paper carried a quarter page ad by Mr Electric stating that ""Receive a True Whole House Surge Protection with a 10 year warranty for only $250""
I called them today. I set up the appointment. Then the person who answered the call at 404-504-3020 told me that there will be a $49 additional service call fee. I told her that no where in the ad it says that there is a service call fee. I cancelled the appointment as it was an inaccurate, false and misleading ad. Beware of ""Mr. Electric"" company.

I had an appointment scheduled 2 weeks out. I received a text less than 24 hours prior to the appointment telling me they were cancelling or rescheduling. I called their dispatch location and apparently they have sent all their technicians to do inspections instead of their scheduled appointments. Call another company. Do not trust this company.

Booked me two days later for a three hour window of time. They called at the last 30 minutes to say they were 90 minutes away. Then, he quoted me $450 to replace a breaker for my dryer and tighten a light switch plate issue. Just wow. I guess he didn't really want to drive 90 minutes. He got the night off and we found other AFFORDABLE and considerate solution. Poorly run all the way around.

Had an issue with my power line into my house that cause a major surge. Daniel S was able to come out and make sure everything was safe as well as upgrade my surge protection and get me back up and running. Was friendly, efficient and didn't push my towards any unwanted services. One of the few who really felt like he was there to help and not just overcharge. Will definitely be calling again again when needed in the future and requesting Daniel!

We called Mr. Electric of Atlanta to come out and move our dining room light fixture that the builder originally placed in the wrong spot, and adjust the height of three hanging pendants. Hated to have to go through the trouble, but Dennis came out and made the process easy. He was professional, courteous, and took his time to do it right and make it perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to call Mr. Electric and will be requesting him again for future electrical needs.

Mr. Electric has no concern for your time. I received a quote for work on June 15, 2020 and scheduled the work for July 20, 2020. On July 20, 2020, I received a confirmation of my appointment. I called after my appointment window expired and was told the technician was not coming because he was tied up on another job. I guess he was so ""tied"" up that nobody at Mr. Electric had the decency to notify me. I was advised that I could reschedule and I RESCHEDULED another company.

Being the forgiving person I am, I tried Mr. Electric again on 12/10/2020. I scheduled an appointment for 12/18/2020. I received a confirmation call that the technician was on his way and would arrive within an hour. After waiting almost 1 hour and 45 minutes, I called back inquiring the whereabouts of the technician. After an extended hold, I was then told the technician was on his way. I was told the technician had to return to the shop to ""pickup supplies"" and should be there in about an hour. I told the dispatcher she could cancel the visit because I had more things to do than to wait for Mr. Electric. On 12/29/2020, I called back to speak with the manager to advise him of my concerns. I spoke with Barbara who told me she would have her manager, Steve, call me back and as of this day, 1/19/2021, I have not heard from Steve nor anybody at Mr. Electric.

I called Mr. Value Electricians @ 770.894.1566 on 12/30/2020 and scheduled an appointment for January 2, 2021. Not only did Mr. Value Electricians call to let me know he was on the way, he arrived early for his appointment. And the quote he provided was simply OUTSTANDING!!! When I have the work completed, I will tell you how well the job went.

Mr. Value Electricians has completed the work. The electrician arrived on time, completed the work on time and charged what was quoted.
