Mr Electric is the most unprofessional company they will keep you waiting this is a total nightmare of a company and the customer service staff is very low end I cancelled my service
Stephen Y.I called Mr. Electric on a Friday afternoon to diagnose a local power outage in my home. Dispatch at Mr. Electric gave me an ETA window and gave me periodic updates to inform me of delays.
Once the electrician, Justin Simonetta arrived at my home, he explained the estimated diagnosis and repair costs which were expensive and I initially declined the service but Justin countered with other pricing options that were conducive to my wallet.
After hours of diagnosis, Justin traced the outage to a damaged circuit. The circuit was damaged by another crew earlier that installed home security. The circuit was damaged in the attic and running behind drywall.
I asked Justin to take photos of the wire that had been damaged so I could use as evidence for the home security company to accept responsibility and cover the expenses.
Justin took the photos and sent me copies of the photos before leaving my property. I opted not to have the repairs done that night because I wanted to ensure the home security company was going to cover the expense.
Justin provided the cost estimate and I explained my plan to him and that I would follow up next week.
After the home security company agreed to cover the cost, Justin came back and fixed the problem in a timely fashion.
Justin was professional, knowledgeable and able to explain electrical terminology in laymen's terms. I have not had any issues since. The one knock on Mr. Electric is the up sell process the company ask of the electrician.
After a customer spends $500 on a repair, most customers could care less about a maintenance or power protection plan. Nonetheless it's all business and Justin is an excellent professional electrician.
TOTAL AND COMPLETE BS!!!! I have been robbed. I had the ladder out for the tech, the breaker was off, the fixture was 95% set in the correct configuration and you still charged me $178 for a fifteen minute job. BS!!! and I will NEVER use you again. I will tell everyone that I know NOT to use you.
I will go back to Mr. Sparky. They did not gouge and rob.

Douglas Kirkland
Chris S.My experience with Mr. Electric was as follows: I had power dimming issues in my house. A well-dressed professional from their company arrived on time and went over my options with me. He sold me on a $150 main power inspection. After completion of the examination he informs me that my main panel in the house is corroded and that it needs to be replaced a $3100 solution. This is where my problem begins. I call in another electrician to get a second opinion. He does a main power examination and discovers that the two lines coming into my house are coming in at 2 different voltages and that this is a power company problem. A call to the power company and this problem was fixed that afternoon with no cost to me. I asked about the corrosion on the panel and the new electrician told me that there was such a minuscule amount that it would have no effect on the power in my house. I called Mr. Electric to ask to speak with a supervisor to express my concern and as of now 5 days have passed and no return phone call. It is very upsetting that would I not have gotten a second opinion I would have spent $3100 and not even solved my problem.
Patricia R.If I could give zero stars I would. I called and reached the dispatch. Very nice woman noted our major electrical problem and I told her I needed someone out here tonight or at least a call as most of my power was out due to a short. She said no problem and someone would call. That was 16 hours ago. Needless to say I found another company this morning and they came out and remedied the problem. I won't be calling Mr electric again
Jim T.This is the second job at our house for Mr Electric. Great work both times. Pleasant dispatchers. Quick service. High quality work. Will keep using them in the future.
Kaytee K.My tenants wanted a cable outlet installed in a guest room. They called this company as their preferred vendor so I went along with it (my first mistake). First off, IT WASN'T THAT HARD of a project for an electrician. The electrician simply needed to split the cable line in the master and run it up the wall, across the attic, and down through the installation wall and out drywall near the floor--that's it. The ""electrician"", however, didn't do much better at that than I could have done; he didn't understand the construction of the home (joist positions were ""weird"" according to him) and ended up making a finger-sized drill hole in the 2nd guest room and a HUGE, gaping, larger-than-my fist hole in the upper wall of the 1st guest room where the outlet was supposed to go. I do not even understand how so much damage could have occurred since I chose to wait in the car while he worked on the property. Sorry, but that joist excuse is weak at best for me and doesn't explain the huge hole that looked as if he ripped it by hand on purpose to pull the wire through from the ceiling. I am young and urban and probably don't look like the type of woman to know much about construction so he probably just used an excuse for the damage that he thought would fly for what he assumed was a low-information customer. He stated that he/the company would not repair the damage because it is their policy not to do so and that their waiver states that damage may occur when they are working. I asked him what the point of calling an electrician to cleanly run a wire through walls was if the wall got damaged anyway...he shrugged. I told him I would suspend his work while I got an estimate for the damage so he called his supervisor/home office and he said he would give me $100 off of the $400 price tag (which was already way too expensive for such a simple project; my usual electrician fell off his chair at that price when I debriefed him afterwards). Sometimes suing a company is just dumb for many reasons so I just took the $100 to be rid of them. If you use this company, watch, and possibly film them closely to see if gross negligence can be documented in case you need it later. I felt that I really had no recourse because I signed their waiver and failed to watch them, and now several days later that darn drywall repair is STILL a pain in my neck (dealing with drying times for drywall repair and going back and forward to my rental property which is 30 minutes away). So far the repair is costing much more than $100 between the cost of gas, rental vehicle (I don't drive), time, materials, contractor, stress, etc. I feel this company doesn't care enough when they inconvenience their customers and damage things, and then they turn around and only give a small token for an ""I am sorry"" that does not even cover the repair cost. My contractors would NEVER have done this... Also they do not take checks which is another inconvenience for landlords. Try another company first.
Everything with Mr Electric and Mr Rooter has been seamless. From ease of scheduling, to punctuality and knowledgeability of their teams, they have done great work for us. Starting with a busted main water line and a couple outlets that didn't work...Ashley identified a number of items that needed to be addressed as preventive maintenance and to protect our home and explained everything in detail. He came a second time to do all that and worked nonstop with breaks only to show me things he had found and explain what he was doing. He is a real expert, respectful and trustworthy. We are not calling anyone else ever. Thank you, Ashley!
Wendy A.Convenient, quick, pretty fair pricing, and safely done! Thank you Mr Electric! I'm keeping your card for future projects I have.
Jenna D.I need to update my review of Mr. Electric. Like I mentioned before I felt that I was extremely overcharged for the work that was done at my house. I spoke with the owner of the Mr. Electric in Roswell, GA and he agreed and we came to a good conclusion. I will use them again because their management was willing to admit a mistake and talk it over with me, and that I do appreciate. I would also recommend anyone else that has an issue to give them a call and they will work with you.
