I do not recommend them at all
Got a call my tech would arrive in 20 min an hour later still no tech. I called they said they would look into where he was and would call me right back . Another 39 min no tech no call I called again lady tried giving excuses he finally showed up no apology
I had a fuse that kept tripping so he said too much was on that breaker and would have to add a new one to separate took him about 5 minutes and was over $300 what a rip off
Tech had to go into my dirt crawl space and came into my house with no shoe covers and red clay all over his shoes made a mess of my house.

BEWARE of this unscrupulous and unethical company. Read further if you'd like to know how they intentionally damaged/knowingly sabotaged our property, costing us $10,000.
We had an emergency situation when a tree fell on a power line connecting to our house. Because of the time of day, this was the only company that our tenants could get to come out. The tech, John Corcoran, quoted a bunch of (unnecessary) work and installed a generator to get power back to the house until the repairs could be made. Later that day, we had another company (that we had used before and know and trust) come for a quote. Their quote was 1/10 of Mr. Electric's quote. The other company did the work quickly and successfully and we had Mr. Electric come and remove their generator.
When Georgia Power came out to hook the house back up to the main power line, they could not because of unsafe conditions at the meter box. The reason: When the tech hooked up the generator, he illegally opened up the meter box and cut some wires that shouldn't have been cut. You are not allowed to open a meter box without first getting approval from the power company. The tech did this without permission from us or from GA Power. This is not the proper way to install a generator, and something that this tech should have known. He did this because he wanted to charge us to fix it.
Mr. Corcoran's supervisor, Steve Barber, denies that his tech did this, despite us having photographic proof. The company refuses to pay the $10,000 that it cost us to repair their sabotage.

My family and I had a power surge take place at our home, and it knocked out our electrical panel, and most of our appliances. Fortunately, Daniel Stakes, with Mr. Electric, made our home, and our electrical needs, his number one priority. Daniel was fast, efficient, and a wonderful advocate for everything that we needed. He worked for 13 days straight in restoring our home back to power, and he did an excellent job in helping to make our home safe. We are truly grateful for Daniel, and his boss, Steve--they worked HARD to get us back into our home at a reasonable timeframe. If you need an ally, and a great resource, call and ask for, Daniel Stakes, with Mr. Electric.

The technician came in with the attitude nothing could be done. I had already contacted 2 other companies who assured me the work, putting an outlet behind the wall of the chimney for a mounted tv, could be done and how it could be done. David, with Mr. Electric, told me he would have to put a lot of holes in my walls. He also said he couldn't repair the censored lights outside. I explained the work I needed done when I called for service. Why wasn't David prepared to perform it?? It seemed to me he didn't come to do any work.
I would not recommend this company and will not call them again.

We know very little about electrical systems. We rely on professionals. This was a VERY positive experience. Same day service. Electrician, John, fixed the problem expeditiously and gave me a lot of valuable information to help maintain our home's electrical systems. John was knowledgeable and professional. Will use them again and refer them to friends.

Overall: I'm impressed by their detailed audit process and believe the owner is committed to making the business better. However, I definitely think the customer service can be improved and any potential customers should expect to get a quote from the technician before accepting service.
Backstory:
I initially had some grudges against this place because I had a billing dispute for the service I received. One of their electricians came out and didn't inform us of the charges before performing the service. Communicating with their customer service over the phone didn't yield much result since they claim to have no authority over billing. Just as I was about to give up, I received a phone call from their owner, Bob, personally talking to me about this issue. Bob went through the audit trail and determined the technician was at fault and that the technician violated their standard protocol. Bob issued a reasonable refund and said he would use this case in the further training process of their employees.

This company is a disaster. Came out two weeks ago to install a security light and to schedule a second appointment to replace ceiling lights. Two days later, the security light did not work. Called back and they were to come today to correct this and to do the second job. Was told they would be here at 8:30, then later 12:00. No show. When we called to inquire, they said they had no record. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

After originally dealing with a negative service call situation, Bill (owner of Mr. Electric), contacted me and was very generous in offering his suggestions/help to my husband for potential future electrical needs. Furthermore, he offered to give a discount toward the original service invoice in order to make the situation right and keep our future business. Bill was very sympathetic and understanding to my concerns and went above and beyond to rectify the bad situation. In addition, he pointed out for customers to always look for coupons online in order to save additional money. Thank you for turning the situation into a positive one!

I had to move an outlet to another spot. Excellent and quick service. The technician, Braylon Rudd, was friendly and knowledgeable.
Pros:
On time!
Answered all my questions.
Did the job quickly and professionally.
Cons:
Bit on the pricey side.
Over all great job.

Dennis Thomas with Mr. Electric was sent to look at some lighting issues for our neighborhood mailbox area. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgable and resolved the problem quickly.
