I LOVE this company! They always do the job right! Very friendly and knowledgeable group of people. I've used a couple of other companies that didn't do the job correctly or said it couldn't be fixed. But with Mr Electric they've corrected the mess from the other companies! I highly recommend them!!

Our A/C failed during the heat wave; the associated circuit breaker switches kept tripping. Our A/C service company identified overheating problems with multiple circuit breaker switches (temps were 150º plus) in our breaker box as the cause. His recommendation was to call an electrician immediately or risk a fire, so we did... Mr. Electric. We called in a work request to Mr. Electric, Lafayette. LA at 3:53PM thinking... well, it's a Sunday; they won't be able to come here until Monday. Wrong. Mr. Kevin Faulk was at our house within 45Min and determined that the entire breaker panel needed replacement - and was willing to do it that day... on a Sunday. It turns out that he couldn't, because he needed a part. He could have just left and waited until he had the parts he needed to return, but he didn't. He turned off all unnecessary circuits and temporarily replaced the A/C breaker, so we wouldn't die from the heat. Before departing, he made sure the new temporary circuit breaker was not overheating.

The next day he was here bright and early and did the entire replacement. It took about 5 hours work and required coordination with, and inspection by the electric company that provides our power. We've used Mr. Electric several times before for various projects, and had been happy with them, but this time was a big deal. Considering they put in that much work and used top of the line equipment (Square D by Schneider Electric), the final bill was very reasonable in our opinion. I highly recommend using Mr. Electric for all your electrical needs.

Our tenant called this company after hours to repair an issue with the electrical box on one of our mobile home lots. They did a good job with the repair but only replaced one part of the problem at a cost and charged us ridiculous fees for the rest of the service. A brand new all in one box and meter costs around $500.00 They charged us $1500.00 for just the meter base with hub. Also charged us $343.00 for permitting and inspection. We normally use another company but this was an after hours job so we understand a slight increase. However, what should have cost us less than $1000.00, ended up costing us $1932.00 We find this excessive.

Justin Landry was our technician and was absolutely phenomenal. We recently purchased our home and Justin did a thorough inspection of the house and recommended a few updates as this home was built in the 80s. He came back a few weeks later and completed the job and explained everything he had done. Would recommend Justin and Mr. Electric to anyone who is looking to keep their home updated and running.

This is probably the second or third time I have used Mr. Electric for my business, and I have used them once for my personal needs. At all times, the electricians have been timely, knowledgeable, and professional. They took care of business and offered a thorough explanation of both the problem and the resolution. The charges were surprisingly very reasonable, even on an occasion when I requested immediate service.

Even the office workers who schedule the appointments deserve recognition! They, too, are courteous and helpful.

There is absolutely no reason that I would consider contacting someone else!
