We asked Mr Electric to quote us for help installing temporary power pole. We had already trenched and installed underground conduit from pole and we had already installed post to mount meter box on. The quote was very high. When we asked why it was so high, the technician said he didn't know... he just chooses options on his cellular iPad and it returns a price. Otherwise the technician was nice and professional but in the end we got a reasonable quote for 1/3 the price and great work.

Our bathroom light switch stopped working. Darrell from Mr. Electric was quick to respond. He immediately began diagnosing the problem and replaced the switch. He also identified a more systemic issue with how the outlets in our house, though quite new, was wired and what we should do to mitigate future issues. I appreciated his time and attention to explaining the issue and helping increase our awareness.

Called Mr Electric to have a bathroom fan/light combo installed in the shower area. The quote was $580 plus I purchase the fan/light unit myself. I felt the estimate was high so tried to negotiate the price. They wouldn't do. I went ahead with the install anyway. The job is actually more of a construction effort as the wiring was already in place and a can light fixture needed to be removed. The installation performed was ok and resulted in a 4 inch opening between the unit and next joist. I decided to do the drywall repair myself. While preparing the 4"" by 12"" drywall patch I realized that the fan/light unit frame was installed about a quarter inch below the joist surface. I didn't want to pull down the whole installed unit so I simply grooved the backside of the patch to clear the unit metal frame. If correctly installed in the first place I would not have needed to do the work around which made the patching job more difficult. They might be good for electric work but maybe not so on framing and drywall installation work.

We had them come out to change out light bulbs in our office. Light bulbs that we provided. There were 6 of them. Our invoice was over $1200. To change six light bulbs. I'm appalled and will not use them again.

The process from start to finish was smooth, easy, and Mr Electric was able to get Baylon to my house within hours of the phone call. Baylon was on time, very communicative, friendly, Informative, and his work was top of the line. Baylon also did a whole home electrical inspection which is something Mr Electric just does I believe, and he found a few things I was unaware of from my home inspection. The amount of work that was done in one day was quite impressive! Quality/price/speed/Baylon all 5 stars!
