I purchased a home with the world's ugliest dining room chandelier. I purchased a new light that fit my taste and contacted another company to install it for me. That company was rude, and wanted to charge an outrageous price, and the service rep walked all Over my home telling me I need to replace all the receptacles. I told him to leave and started to look for someone else. I found Mr. Electric in crystal River. I live in Inverness, and they were happy to have my business.I think they work in Citrus and Marion counties. The electrician, Chad, did an amazing job. He installed it and it looks great! he answered my questions and the price was right! ! I am so happy! No more ugliness in the dining room! I am very pleased with this company and their employee Chad. Definitely going to share his name with others who live here.

Can't review their actual service, but left a message early Christmas morning about an electricity emergency. It's 9pm on December 26 and have not yet gotten a return call. I have not heard anything bad about them, this is just my experience. I was ready to pay some tall money for Christmas service. I ended up getting service with a different company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They did not pull a permit for the work that was done. The license they gave me was not their own and the person it belonged to is on hold..... I have tried contacting them and now no one answers.... Filing a complaint with BBB and the licensing department. I hope they feel really good about themselves, robbing people the week before Christmas is sad!! KARMA is A B

I called Mr electric with what I thought was a minor repair to a wall socket but before they arrived I realized that it was a bit more, when they walked in the door and quoted their fee just to show up I was shocked but willing to pay it to get the problem solved. They then told me what it would cost just to touch anything in the house again I was shocked but I needed to repair so I agreed to pay it. The technician that showed up was barely 22 and though I am no electrician I could tell he wasn't going to delve into an extensive repair. He fixed one plug tested them and told me everything was working but within 10 minutes of him leaving it went out again. At this point I knew we had a bigger problem so I promptly called them back the technician told me he would be out on Monday as this was Friday, I received a appointment confirmation call but Monday comes and no one shows so I call Mr electric they promised to have the technician call me because he I was on his schedule but he never did Tuesday I call again and after the young lady spoke to the technician I was told my appointment was tentative. I'm sorry but that was not true. I never received another call from Mr electric so I stopped payment on the check. I had another electrician come out, he found a burnt wire in another wall that was sparking. I tried to explain to Mr electric this was a potential fire hazard if it went out again within 10 minutes of him being there but I was told my situation was not an emergency by I believe the owner. The second electrician spent 4 to 5 hours locating the problem and charged me a fraction of Mr electric charged to come out and basically do nothing. About 3 weeks later I received a call for Mr electric to find out why payment was stopped so I explained the situation in about 4 days later I received a letter from a collection attorney. I'm sorry but this is no way to do business. I expected Mr electric to contact me and try to rectify the situation but they don't care about quality work or good customer service. No I will never use them again nor will anyone know or hopefully anyone I can reach out to.

Alex did such a great job with this work. Words cannot express the thanks I have for the work. His attitude was can do and he went out of the way to make sure I was happy with the work. He cleaned up after every job and tested everything to make sure it worked correctly. He is a true craftsman and worked efficiently and safely. I would highly recommend Alex in the future.

I agree with nicole's assessment. Tech came out and gave an estimate. Received text from company they would be in touch with me on the follow up. NEVER happened. Upon review, when I asked the tech if he was licensed, Yeah, Yeah was his almost defensive response. Maybe the job was too big, replace ceiling fan replace a couple of outlets and install bathroom ceiling fan.
Heard from Jennifer, biz owner. Look I'm not looking to put anyone out of business but mr. Electric appears to give good estimate, period. Reviews from a year or more ago, favorable, current comments are thumbs down.
Don't understand no follow up. If the next available time is two weeks, then advise the potential customer and go from there, but nobody likes being ghosted.

My legacy 48"" florescent fixture stopped working so I called Mr. Electric. I bought a new, and similar, fixture for them to install. When the electrician arrived, he offered a solution that would replace the old technology of florescent bulbs with LEDS - at a comparable price. I didn't know that was possible! Since LEDS are more efficient and longer lasting, I was definitely interested. I was so happy he told me about that and didn't just go along with the status quo and install the older style fixture. I've used this company a number of times, and they remain my go-to contact for electrical work. They're reliable, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. I highly recommend them.

No follow up for 2 weeks I just wanted a question answered about a quote they gave, which I did want them to perform the work but I was not going to accept proposal (no other options ) without getting my questions answered..time to move on.

Was contacted by them while browsing their website as I'm in need of someone replacing my panel. Provided my contact info and was promptly texted asking which city in which I live. Replied with my area (which is in their service area) and was never replied to. Contacted them again asking about if I needed to call in to schedule an appointment and again, was ignored. Mr. Electric, you reached out to me, the least you could do is follow up.
