hot water went out - needed a electrician NO ONE RESEARCHED the company. it's electric, formally Mr. electric but still online same phone number - to joseph - total rip-off on price - exactly like the other posts we've found looking at reviews. CHANGING THE NAME DIDN'T STOP THE BAD BUSINESS.

I wish I would have seen all the negative reviews before calling this company. I couldn't agree more with the price gouging and crappy experience. Goes by Mr. Electric, It's Electric, or E3 Electric so know who you are hiring.
I was told $70 Service Fee to come out and diagnose. Prior to coming out, he kept trying to diagnose over the phone. Negotiated to come early, but showed up late. Said he was going to Home Depot to pick up LED bulbs first. He didn't even see the light. Obviously didn't go to HD. After the guy was in my house, it was $70 Service fee AND $315 fee to diagnose. I said that isn't what you told me over the phone. He said $70 was just gas money. I eventually agreed to the $315 diagnostic fee. Discovered I had swapped a single wire. Said I needed to replace the new switches with his switches that he had to pick up from Home Depot. I offered to go for him, because He said he wanted to come back at night (Why so you can work in the dark? My clue he ain't coming back). He then said $70 for the switches. I thought overpriced, knowing I just paid $10 for two. When I got the invoice he charged me $144 for two $5ea switches. And the quality of work was sub-par. Switches were crooked and he left the plates off. I had to redo everything to make it look nice. Yeah I paid stupid tax. Never again. Can I give zero stars?

If this business is anything like the driving I experienced from someone driving their company van then it is not good. I know it's not the actual work, but whoever was driving their work van almost drove me into another vehicle on H2 and then sped off knowing that they almost were going to hit me driving into the lane I was already in. Very reckless driving and dangerous for not only myself, but my 2 year old daughter I had in the car with me as well. Matters should be addressed with whomever drives the company vehicle.

Joe is a Ripp off electrician. Tells you it's $70.00 Horrible company and then charges a $400.00 diagnostic fee then does 1/2 the job and says has to finish another day but will charge another 400.00 diagnostic fee - you have got to be kidding
You arrive 2 1/2 -3,hours late for a 4 o'clock appointment then say it's 8:30 so done for day
So now tenants only have 1/2 lights
DO NOT HIRE THIS RIP OFF
I am so upset I'm shaking mad as can be this man needs to be out of business

This business is NOT closed! Happily, they are still in business! They were at my house today to do some work for me. I have used Mr. Electric for various projects (outside lights, power and fuse box for a hot tub, LED ceiling light, etc.) around my house for over 10 years. Joe and his staff have always done a great job for us! I've read some bad reviews for this company and I could not disagree more. They have always been quick to respond, professional, and friendly. Joe has always been helpful and offers fair pricing. I have and will continue to highly recommend them!

Awful service. I do NOT recommend this electrician. Told us he was coming to fix our problem but never showed up or called to say he was not (NEVER) coming.

This is my first and last experience with Mr. Electric. I called and spoke with a call service when I attempt to get an estimate for electrical install.
great phone service, said somebody will call me to schedule I said great.
I received a call 20 minutes later from a guy name Joe and said he will be on his way shortly to look at the job. I said sounds great call when you are on property.
I received a call 30 minutes later stating that he was out in front of the building, I was downstairs look to see nobody and said I think you are at the wrong place as I don't see you here. Seems annoyed, he said okay asked for the address again which I provided and hung up the phone.
about 10 minutes later I received another call saying that I'm on property, I said great, looks like you parked in a resident stall, if its okay to park in loading zone in front of the building with big yellow stripes and orange cone. he asked me to repeat it again, which I did, and advised I'll meet you outside. I walk outside and noticed that the guy drove over the orange cone and it was lodged underneath the van.
I said looked like you drove over the cone, his comment that it was in my way. I said well that's not a great way to look at it, lets move the van to get the cone out and try it again.
he said I don't' need to hear this s**t, Fu*K this job I'm leaving, I said absolutely great decision we wouldn't want an estimate from your company given your response and clearly a lack of professionalism.
I walked away back to the building, in which the guy gets out of his van and follows me to the building asking for my name and wants a business card, at that time I said, please leave the property as requested, this is trespassing, he proceed to get very defensive and name calling, then I couldn't believe he is recording the incident and sticking the phone in my face saying look at this guy not wanting an estimate. I politely asked to move the camera from my face and he then tried throw a punch at me! a punch, I couldn't believe it! to try and punch me in my stomach.
I stepped back and said wow really you want to go to jail now for assault. I'm calling the cops now. he then stepped back still recording, talk about serious mental health concerns. he left the property after I took out my phone and recorded his exit, not to mention other residents were watching the whole incident happen. could have been something worse if it wasn't for bystanders in the area.
Seriously! please think twice for asking for an estimate, I have already called the company and filed a formal complaint. I should of read the reviews first on yelp before picking the name from the phone book.

Joe and Ryan did a great job at our restaurant. We had multiple small jobs. Joe and Ryan charged a $257 fee to diagnose the problems and even made recommendations for the electrician for main building power. They gave me their estimate for all the jobs on the spot and cleared their evening to come back and complete the list. They even helped a woman who was stranded in the parking lot with car troubles. Mahalo Mr. Electric!

First of all, this company don't deserve any stars at all. I called them to get an estimate to install a chandelier. They came to the house and gave me a quote of $620. Before I agreed to the price I asked them if they will be responsible if they damage my wall or ceiling during the installation and the answer was NO. Then, I told them that I have to talk to my husband first and call them back if we decide to do the installation. Then Joe, the owner ask me for the$70 service charge, I ask him what service charge? I was not told that there is a service charge for them to come and give an estimate. When they called me I was told that they will come to the house to give an estimate but never mentioned anything about a service charge. Then he really got upset and called his wife on the phone and ask her if she did tell me about the service charge, the wife got defensive and said that she explained to me about the charge. While we were on the speaker phone I told her that she did not mention anything about a service charge.
He made a remark when he was walking out of my house "" THANK YOU FOR WAISTING MY TIME"". I told him that he is very rude and very unprofessional.

If I could rate this company with zero stars, I would. Joe, the owner, has no personality, does't greet you with a ""Hello"" after you greet him, makes sassy remarks, and has an attitude.
Joe would also interrupt you as you spoke. Very rude. Nothing positive about the owner and prices and I'm sure that will show in his work as well.
