Martin the owner of the business is the only electrician we will use and trust. His honesty and his professionalism is highly appreciated and we highly recommend him. I wish that all contractors acted as professional as Martin. He has done work in our home in the past and recently installed some outside lighting. We were so surprised how quickly the work was done. He is reasonable and honest and highly recommend him to anyone seeking electrical work.

Needed to find an electrician for my two different jobs, one at the house and one at the apartments. Looked here to yelp and found the perfect help. Martin was the guy I turned to, to do all the jobs. I needed to change a half a dozen lights in the apartments and needed to have two garage door lights replaced on the garage. Martin did this in a very short time frame and was very honest, knew his craft, and reasonable with his prices. Also Martin did a lot of other small jobs that popped up along the way. I will always use Martin for my future jobs. Also he takes my calls on the weekend when I have questions. Thank you Yelp and Martin! After waiting a week for our ""regular"" electrician to call us back, we found M.R. Electric on Yelp. What a find it was! We were expecting a housefull of people that night and our front porch light had stopped working. I replaced the timer switch--still not working. Martin, however, knew just what to do, and got the right switch for the wiring of our old house. Quick response (on a Saturday) and fair price. We will use this company in the future. Bravo, Martin!

I'm a first time homeowner and an interior designer and decided to change my light switches to the flatter more modern look. The seller did a renovation before but only switched out maybe half of them to the new, so I had this horrible mix of the two.

Anyway, it was Sunday afternoon and I decided it would be easy because I've watched enough contractors do it. It wasn't. It was hard. I totally screwed it up and I had to stop because it was too late in the day and the sun had set and I was working with a flashlight.

So Monday morning, I decide to call a professional. Martin and his team came on over in the afternoon (according to my schedule) and waited outside for 15 minutes (because traffic sucks) while I drove over from work. They worked for less than an hour and did everything that I wanted to do but didn't get to. And his pricing: TOTALLY REASONABLE and WORTH IT!

Trust me...always call a professional and these guys are it!

He explained everything thoroughly and provided appropriate options for what we needed. He was always responsive to my questions and flexible with changes to the plans as we went. Martin came highly recommended and now I know why. He was very quick to diagnose the problems and how to fix them, and given that my house is 70 years old, these things are not always obvious. I had saved up a whole list of things -- outlets that didn't work, faulty wiring in crawlspace, exposed wiring in the attic, new fixtures to be hung, light switches that were inoperable -- all needed diagnosing. Martin easily assessed the problems and resolved the list in record time, at a very fair price. He is polite, intelligent, honest and does excellent work. Would give him more than 5 stars if I could! We originally had a problem with a part of a power and Martin was able to find that we had a short in the underground line and he replaced the line with PVC instead of the metal conduit line that was previously installed.

When we decided to upgrade our meter panel, we called him and he handled everything. He finished the job within a day and caused little disturbance. The inspector was already familiar with Martin's work and everything finished without a hitch. He is professional and I would highly recommend him.

The power to my tankless water heater went out after a recent rain and my warranty insurance company dispatched a plumber even though I specifically requested an electrician. Being already a day and a half without hot water in the middle of winter I could not wait until the next business day for the insurance company's electrician to even call me back to schedule an appt.

I found Martin on Yelp because he is in area and had good reviews. He was at my house within 30 mins on a Saturday and provides free estimates. He was super friendly and explained what was happening.

Turns out water got into the outlet and just needed to be replaced. Martin fixed it in a jiffy and I have hot water again!
