We started having some electrical issues before this last heat wave, but when it continued to get worse I knew I had to find an experienced electrician. Martin responded quickly and gave me a date and time for early the next week which was perfect. He arrived promptly and immediately found the circuit breakers to be older than I realized and replaced them. He was also agreeable to redoing all of the labeling of the circuit breakers which is time consuming and detailed when done correctly. I felt so fortunate to have found Martin. His expertise is high level - he is also a mechanical engineer - and he and his assistant were professional and kind. I would recommend Martin/MR Electric as the level of service is top notch.

Like almost all contractors now, he has a backlog so it took a while to actually do the work. His work was very good and his price was fair. I would definitely recommend him.

Martin is very thorough and professional in his work. He upgraded my electrical panel to a higher capacity, as well as working with the city for the permitting process. Contacted Mr. electric for two small electrical issues one dealing with a garage door opener another changing a light switch to a combo light switch/socket. We finally had our electrical panel replaced and the whole front of the house rewired. We had been wanting to do this for a long time due to the front of our house being very old, knob and tube wiring. We had decided to go with Martin and MR Electric because a friend of ours had just used him for their house and loved his work. The pricing was also very competitive with other quotes we had received. He said the job would take about 2 weeks and he was pretty accurate with the timing. Martin and his co-worker Junior were very prompt everyday and also very Covid safety oriented. They were very forthright with what would happen everyday so we knew what to expect each day. His workmanship is very good and efficient. When he had to cut into walls he would patch it right up and make it look very clean. He is very knowledgeable and would always answer any questions we had. He was also very prompt with responding back to texts or calls. He is also very informed with all the city ordinances and got our city permit lined up before starting the job. He is very on top of it and was able to get the city inspector in a timely manner. I wholeheartedly recommend MR Electric if you are in need of any electrical work!

*Please be aware if you are redoing your main panel, that lead times from the power companies are ridiculous. At this time, we are still waiting for Edison to come and permanently attach pole power lines to our new main panel.

Martin is responsive, professional, and thorough. We have connected with him for years (e.g. new fuse box, electrical rewiring, outlet installation, etc.) and I am disappointed in myself that it took me this long to provide this review. Bottom line - if you need an excellent and honest electrician - look no further. Martin is the guy who you should keep in your phone book. He handles big and small jobs, is quick to respond, and so thorough - identifying any areas that are dangerous and/or in need of updating. Today, he worked in my mom's older home and ensured that the finished project was a quality job to ensure that it was wired correctly and to code, ensure her safety, and avoid any issues in the future.
