This is the best solar company out there! The process was very smooth. This is a husband and wife run company of Sammy & Ziva. They are completely, professional, knowledgeable, meticulous and honest. Ziva went into detail about how everything works and Sammy inspected my roof for the best option for placement of my solar panels. It only took one prep day and one completion day and viola' I had solar. The longest part was waiting on the DWP to place their solar meter.

We recently contracted to have Moonlight Electric Services install solar panels on our garage in Granada Hills. From our first contact with the company owners, Sammy and Ziva Lev, we found them to be courteous, professional, very experienced and highly knowledgeable about the solar industry. They provided estimates, gave us choices for the types of panels and systems needed for our home expansion, obtained permits from the city, and installed the panels. Customer Service at its best!! Sammy and Ziva treat you as if you were part of their family. The degree of diligence is impeccable. From consultation, through construction, to commissioning, they were very focused and communicated with us in a timely manner. They were very professional and showed a lot of integrity. They're not fast-talking sales people trying to make a quick buck off people. They're genuine in their pronouncements. I wish most businesses were run like this.

The work? Best ever! Clean work, using genuine parts. Sammy and Ziva installed our solar system. We had consulted with many other companies and almost gave up on the project. Then we saw their signs on our neighbors' lawns with the solar systems gorgeously installed. We couldn't resist. So we contacted them. That was one of the best decisions ever, for us. Needless to say we're very satisfied with the work Sammy and Ziva did on our solar system installation.

Sammy and Ziva are thorough, fast, communicative, honest and deliver a great, well-installed product. They do an intelligent and flexible analysis of your site and needs and will neither upsell you on something unnecessary nor install an inferior product for the sake of undercutting on a bid price. You don't have to deal with a sales team with questionable motives nor do you have to pay for that overhead. Our installation and activation went very smoothly, and they facilitated permits and inspections at every step. They installed the panels properly to the rafters by using appropriate solar hardware instead of drilling through the tiles. They had recommendations for solar loan products, understood the tax laws, and have relationships with specific roofers they work with if you need that done too. I dealt with a couple big solar corporations before deciding to use Moonlight and the difference was night and day (preferably with no clouds in order to maximize solar performance). I would recommend them to anyone.

I got solar panels put in about 18 months ago by them. They also upgraded my electrical panel. Both were done very well. From estimate to completion it was an absolute joy. I had multiple quotes and people come out but none with the degree of genuineness. They were so friendly to my kiddo. He was 2 at the time and wanted to be as involved in the process as us. They didn't mind.

This is a family ran business whose priority is the client and making sure expectations are exceeded. I have recommended them any chance I have gotten in NextDoor and by word of mouth but now I'm glad to share my thoughts here. Thanks you two, I'm beyond happy with the results and the panels were the best investment I've done to my house.

We had our solar panels installed by Moonlight Electric. We could not be happier!! Sammie and Ziva are the best. Everything went smoothly form initial estimate to the end. They are great at what they do. Their professionalism, integrity and workmanship are top notch. Ziva and Sammie kept us in the loop of the process every step of the way. The communication was great. They handle everything... all the paperwork, permits, inspections etc. We had to do nothing. And the biggest bonus was the price! They beat all of our other estimates. Their employees are also great. What a team!!! Sammy and Ziva Lev are amazing. We are so happy with the Solar Panels that were installed in 2 days on our West facing home. We were a little unsure of having solar panels on the front of our home, but Sammy said that is the best for full sun exposure and they blend in so well on our roof and look very sleak. The entire process was so easy, Ziva took care of all the forms and paper work and DWP rebate forms, it was a breeze. Can't wait to not open a crazy high electricity bill next summer.
We highly recommend Moonlight Solar and Electric for all your electric needs, as we had Sammy do some elctrical lighting work at our office as well.
