I really like Maurice, but this last job was just a mess from the beginning. Even though I asked multiple times for estimates or receipts in writing I never got one. Countless times I was told one timing and then another day something different.

At the beginning things like stucco repair were included and full service, to just doing me a favor near the end, and when I finally paid the remainder he never called back to make good on the agreed work. Shame on me for paying before work was all complete I guess.

I had to repair irrigation from his guys digging the trench. I had to correct wiring in the sub panel that would have been a fail at inspection time (been in the code for decades).

Again I really like him, but it's just not professional enough for me and the cost is not commiserate.

We had used Montiel Electric once before and were very satisfied. The owner is professional, down to earth and honest. He gave us a great deal, and was very patient and understanding with our situation as we have a lot of dogs and not a whole lot of money. I would imagine a lot of people might get frustrated with all the commotion we have going on here. Now that we found him we won't call anyone else! Thank you so much Montiel Electric!

He's always there when he says he's going to be there, he quotes a fair price and stays on the budget he quoted, and if he can't do the job, it probably can't be done!
