Eli and Bradly were outstanding! Eli's installation of our water softener was smooth and efficient. He kept the work area clean. For all the hard and exhausting work, he maintained a very professional appearance. Bradly assisted and noticed some non-realted potential issues elsewhere in our yard and offered easy fixes. They both explained clearly how and what to expect from our new system. Thanks guys!

Had posted a negative review earlier, but alas, the owner of the property wanted to give them another chance?? So against the renters better judgment once again monkey wrench was cold. Showed up to replace or install garbage disposal. Do you know what we were told???? of course you don't because any same person would never in 1 million years guess ... we were told they needed to get a camera and scope the line?? I text six hours later reads, we have one camera which is currently being used and we needed to wait another week before they could scope Talk about trying to hustle somebody to spend way more money that was necessary. Seriously it was just putting in a garbage disposal. Hey if you got the time and the money, totally recommend monkey wrench for ripping you off and creating as much inconvenience as possible.

These clowns came out to give estimate on a tankless water heater. They said motherboard was toasted and couldn't be repaired. I had my trusted handyman come out he reset the breaker and that waterheater is working great.

I'm really tempted to call the BBB on these clowns. These guys are shadey.

I signed up for their home maintenance plan. They had come out to do a service for our tankless water heater and hvac. For each of the three visits, it seems like their motivation is to sell you something new each time. For the tankless water heater they had quoted over 10k for a full replacement for a unit that was 2 years old at the time. For the HVAC, they recommended charging the system and wanted to charge $1500 to charge and locate a leak. Who knows how much they're going to charge to remedy any leak that the year find. Monkey Wrench is just there to monkey around. I wouldn't recommend.

I chuckled as I read the comments. I wonder how many people were asked to leave a 5-star review due to the ""prizes"" they are awarded for good reviews. After dealing with a company that did that in the past, I've always decided to wait before giving a review. I wouldn't refer Monkey Wrench to my worst enemy! Of course they send someone out that seems very knowledgeable, but then they slip ""newbies"" in for the repair. All I can say is that they are overpriced and their ""workers"" Do sloppy work. They had to come back to our home numerous times to correct their own issues. It's so interesting that they also let me know that there was an issue with the vertical stack and quoted me 12k! It was needed, but I just had it completed for 1/3 of the price, and it is quality work! They also told me I needed to add a new cleanout due to the distance. Guess they can't measure either because an additional cleanout was not required. What I find the most interesting is that the plumber that came out said he doesn't even use the company he works for!

Monkey Wrench replaced our old broken Noritz Tankless Water heater with a new Noritz Tankless Water heater. Technician Ruben Gaeta with the help of technicians Eddie and Mason removed all of the old hardware and pipes. They installed the new Noritz unit, new pipes along with an expansion tank, isolation valve and Flow-Tech system. Ruben adapted the new installation to include the existing hot water recirculation system. Ruben Gaeta described the annual maintenance required and the services that Monkey Wrench can provide. Ruben, Eddie and Mason were very professional. We are pleased with their work.

DO NOT TRUST THEM! I do not know how they can still be in business! Contacted them for a diagnosis because they are ""authorized"" servicer for our tankless water heater. They recommended to replace our newly bought unit right away, and for the amount they quoted me I could buy two or three brand new top of the line water heaters and have Kim Kardashian install them for me. They even asked me to get their water filtration system because they somehow could tell the water was hard by just staring at the running water. Why not just offering to rebuild my entire house? When I said I needed a second opinion, they immediately went into defense mode said something like ""wait you don't trust us?"". Just avoid this business. Ruined one of my favorite songs from one of the greater rock bands.

Update:
It looks like the business replied and said ""pending resolution"", BUT there's NOTHING to be resolved. I just won't trust them.

Unreliable. I scheduled an appointment days out for the one day I could stay home from work. The day before my appointment, I was texted saying they were unable to come out today and would need to reschedule. I reminded them that the appointment was for tomorrow and they said that the appointment had been input incorrectly, and that they could still come out during the originally scheduled appointment time. Day of appointment, as it's halfway through the 4-hour scheduled time window and I had not heard anything I reach out to them. They say they do not have any technicians available and that they would have to reschedule.

Not to be trusted. Some years ago we spent over $5,000 with this company.
To later get the Noritz we purchased from them, serviced, we called Monkey Wrench. More than once to set up appointment. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. Some years have gone by and we decided to give tham another chance. We set up an appointment, and, once again, they never showed. This, despite a text the night before confirming the time. We waited an entire day, and once again, apparently we have been ignored....and once again, they never showed up. How they remain in business treating people in this manner is simply beyond me. Be forewarned.

This company is absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They put our tankless in last year and when we had our third leak in the pipes on the side of our house we decided to give them a try as the last company absolutely ripped us off. They came out within about an hour of being called on Tuesday. The leak detector specialist was here on Friday and 3 hours later they were here jackhammering up our walkway and installing the water softener system. They worked well into dark to finish so we could have water and when a hose came off from under the sink (maybe because we finally had water pressure) they took care of that too - even though they were just about to pull out when it happened. Turned out that last company installed that wrong too. I figured they would never be able to come back this morning after last night's rain to clean up the dirt and fill the holes - but to my amazement - when i got back from errands, everything was filled, the walkway was clean, and even my fence was washed down. And the price for the repair on more lines than the previous company, and the water softener, was still thousands less than the previous company. So happy we have found a wonderful plumber for all our needs! And staff was so responsive and easy to deal with. They kept me completely informed of when the technician's would be arriving.
