Reliable and caring. My a/c broke in a heat wave and I was concerned about the heat and my elderly mother I care for. Joe helped David rush the part needed and in 24 hours I had a rebuilt a/c. These guys are kind and respectful. They were the cheapest quote I found and they kindly explained to me what they did in detail and how I can care for my newly fixed a/c. Thank you guys! I have been a customer of Monkey Wrench Plumbing for many years now, and I've always been totally satisfied with the good work that they do. This week I had plumber Reuben Gaeta to do maintenance service on my two tankless water heaters, and also to check out a leak in the ceiling of my downstairs bathroom. Reuben arrived on time, was friendly and very professional. He finished servicing the water heaters, then determined that the ceiling leak was coming from the upstairs toilet. Reuben called for assistance from another plumber Elias and they began the big job of cutting a hole in my ceiling and replacing the leaky pipe. They finished much sooner than I expected. The repair was well done and now there is no more water leaking. I highly recommend Monkey Wrench and I give Reuben 5-stars!! Thank you!! -Candice H.-

This place bought my go to plumber and my experience has not been good.

Technician came out for a diagnostic for a leaky sink took one look and told me the sink was too old (I know it is old) to work on and he would only replace the sink. For this expert opinion I was charged $49. The replacement work would cost anywhere from $1000-$1400, even if I supplied the hardware.

He also tried to upsell me a new pressure regulator even though my water pressure reading came in fine $1000. I wish I had read the other reviews on this place as I would never have asked them out. Save you $49 and find a plumber who cares about their reputation and not trying to wring every dime out of you.

Oh and good luck waiting on the line for dispatch to actually answer questions.

This service is absolutely ridiculous. They came in to fix my swamp coolers in my shop. Quoted me $3500.000 and charged me $8000.00. These swamp cooler's still do not work as intended. They are only 3 years old. I have called multiple times without a single response. Do not call this place. Do not call this place.

Needed a sewer line cleared. We've had the this same line snaked every year we've owned this house and snaking it always kept it clear for a year.

Mike came out, ran a camera through it, told me the pipe is broken and needs to be hydro-jetted and relined. The quote for that work was a whopping $12,000 +. I told him to just snake the line, which was $300 and comes with a 30 day warranty.

10 days later, the sewer line is clogged again. I called them again and told them I wanted to use the warranty. Mike came out again and said the warranty doesn't apply because the pipe is broken. Mind you, he never mentioned that before.

Then he quotes me $1500 to hydro-jet the line with no guarantee it will fix the problem because the pipe is ""broken."" I call another plumber and they quoted $695 to hydro-jet the line.

UPDATE: Roto-Rooter came out and snaked the line. Didn't say anything about a broken pipe or needing hydro-jetting. The line has been fine ever since.

I won't be using this company again. They are just trying to upsell and take you for all you can pay. It's a rip-off.
