I hired Molitor Electric to come in and repair some damaged wiring as well as create a new circuit for a ceiling light. Dan, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was mindful of the time it took to complete the job and was efficient while being safe at the same time. I would highly recommend Molitor Electric for any of your electrical needs. I will definitley be using them again.

Molitor Electric was great to work with. Very responsive and followed up with me. Electrician came to my house wearing a mask and did great work. Only con is their price was higher than other quotes I received. But, I couldn't get any other electrician to get me scheduled. So in the end, I paid more for the customer service of Molitor. Overall, very happy with the work.

Dan has been amazing to work with! I've had him over at my house to do general inspection work during my option period as well as for a small fix for a light bulb. We called Molitor Electric for the first time a year ago, after enduring several years of lights flickering, breaker switches going off at bad times (when is there a good time?) and network losing connection. Dan Molitor diagnosed the fairly extensive problems, including the fact that our electricity was fluctuating on and off. That's why my ovens (microwave as well as stove) took so much longer to cook everything than they should have. Dan and his team handled everything, diligently and efficiently. And when a city employee caused a delay, which resulted in a power outage for hours, Claudia came over with stick-on lights and a cell-phone battery, and reassurance.They are all such nice people!
So two weeks ago, when I was tired of getting a shock from a light switch in the carport, I got Dan to come again. That wasn't a simple problem either. He had to break through some HardiPlank that was installed by a home ""improvement"" company - which I will review harshly elsewhere - and correct faulty wiring that substandard contractors had done in 2015. I also had a new light installed over the front entrance to shine on the address. That took some creative design/ engineering. Dan wouldn't quit until I was satisfied. He and his whole team work so hard, evenings, weekends, all the time! And probably haven't charged nearly as much as they are worth.

Since purchasing my home earlier this year, I've needed a variety of services performed, ranging from plumbing work to electrical. As anyone who's owned a home before knows, finding a good servicing company isn't always easy and can sometimes take a few trials and tribulations. Sometimes though you get lucky and you stumble across a gem right off the bat. In my case, the gem was Molitor Electric. So far, Dan with Molitor has upgraded both house electrical panels, installed a few standard electrical outlets and even ran the wiring and installed two high powered outlets for two vehicle charging stations. At one point during his installation of the electrical panels I asked about the durability and quality of the panels with regards to overall cost. Dan responded by saying that he only used the best of the best for his customers and even though it might mean a high upfront cost, at the end of the install I would have the best panels on the market. As someone who grew up with a father who ran his own construction business for over 20 years with the ideology of perfection and quality of work, this mentality holds a lot of deep meaning and value to me. Dan's work is immaculate, detailed and professional. In the case of using an electrician, what you pay for is what you get. If you want professional, quality work don't waste your time trying different electricians. Just use Molitor.

Molitor Electric is a straight-shootin', hard-wirin' glory. They are uber-local, operate on a human scale, and are easy to schedule. Claudia runs the office and communicates in a clear and timely manner, and you often get the eponymous Dan M. to engage the work! They've done three jobs--large, small, and medium-- for our family with good results. They just finished running a new circuit to our garage this evening, and did extra work, dispensed spare parts and offered useful advice in the process.
Bonus points for knowing their way around the arcana of older houses!
