We called the week of October 25 and booked an appointment for the 31st. On the day of the appointment, they called to say that they will be later than the confirmed appointment time. They then called back again to say that we need to move the appointment to another day. Now, one day later, we have called them repeatedly to reschedule, but they have not responded yet. We are extremely disappointed and should have gone with someone else from the get go.

UPDATE: The company did end up getting back to us in order to complete the project and called afterward it was completed in order to apologize for a communication issue on their end.

Highly recommend Molitor - highly quality work, thorough in their review of an issue and very responsive to working with you on fixing a problem, being mindful of budgets and time. We have used Molitor for years, and they are our go-to electrician. This summer, we got terrible service through a terrible general contractor with another electrician, and we had to hire Molitor to fix some major issues. They did, and it solidified how much we trust these guys. We won't work with anyone else again!

Sent email with pictures to request an estimate on installing a pendant light fixture over a kitchen sink and whole-house surge protector.

Had to wait several days for a reply, since they are busy. Got an estimate from Dan and it came in at the same level as another estimate received (from an even busier electrician who couldn't get around to the work for a couple of weeks.)

Set up a time and Dan's assistant Mike and a helper showed up on the appointed morning and were able to install the light without having to open up the ceiling, saving a
drywall repair job. They were neat and professional, used a drop cloth and cleaned up the site afterward.

During the surge protector install Mike found a loose nut on a breaker and geckos inside the breaker box. He cleaned it up and sealed a hole in the box to keep out the wildlife.

The new light looks and works great. I really appreciate the attention to detail, and kudos to Mike for finding and fixing the issues in the main breaker box.

Molitor Electric was the first company to respond to my e-mail inquiries and also the first to come by and give me a quote. Their price was right and Dan was able to quickly fit me into my schedule once I decided who I wanted to install my new circuit.

Dan was very professional and friendly so I felt completely comfortable having him come in my house (he didn't even mind my two large dogs sniffing him constantly). His work looks good and blends in nicely with the other utility cables on my house's exterior.

Molitor responded promptly to my email asking for a quote to add a new outlet and fish some wires for a wall mounted TV. Many people seem to love calling businesses, but I hate it, so I am always thrilled when someone will communicate via email.

Dan came out to do the quote, and explained throughly what would be done. The price was the lowest of the quotes I'd received. I gave Dan a few dates that would work for me, and he was able to make the first available date work.

Mike came out to do the actual work, and it went very smoothly. He explained everything he was going to do, and offered several helpful suggestions throughout the process. He was very professional, and I would love to have him back for any future work.

Overall, Molitor seems like a great company with the right price and good communication skills. I highly recommend them!

Dan and crew came out and undid some of the terrible (and unsafe) work done by previous workers, and helped us rest easy knowing that the problem was finally fixed. We had been living with problems for a year, and he spotted them, fixed them, and fast. Knowing we had dangerous conditions he rearranged his schedule to get the work done right away, and he and his colleague were not only thorough, communicative, and fast, but they were also really nice. If I had to spend the day at home having electric work done, without electricity or a/c, I'm glad I got to do it with such nice guys. They were even really nice to our dogs. But most importantly, they found it, fixed it, and fast. I will finally sleep well tonight. Can't recommend them enough.

My wife and I own The Studio Kitchen in Round Rock and when we first built our commercial kitchen in 2004 Dan did all the electrical work. Although city inspectors don't dish out compliments easily, it was very evident from his visits that what Dan was doing for us went beyond the inspectors expectations. What he does is not only right, but it always looks good.

We've had him back for various small changes over the years and again recently in 2012 when we made some major changes to our kitchen layout. Once again, he proved that he simply comes in, gets it done and gets it right.

Dan Molitor is a consummate professional at what he does. He is a pleasure to deal with. He communicates well and you just know things are being done right when he is in your space.

Dan Molitor has done work for us before and done well. This time I called him on a Tuesday and he didn't call back until Friday. I missed his call and called him back early on Monday. No reply so far (Tuesday afternoon). Perhaps he's super busy, but I'm looking for someone else.

I've had two jobs done by Molitor electric.

The first was that we were dividing a room into two offices, and wanted to run a new 20A circuit and put in some new boxes. Dan coordinated well with our contractor who was doing the wall. Even though Dan isn't a networking person, he was even willing to put in boxes and run Ethernet cables for me to finish up the ends. The project finished on time, under what I had budgeted, and work was superb.

The second job was done by Dan's helper. The recessed can fixtures in our kitchen were eating light bulbs. A couple years ago we paid another electrician nearly $1000 for a job that wasn't done right. Molitor Elec found a bunch of problems: bad wiring, wrong cans used. I hated to replace the cans because we'd just paid to do that a couple years back, and they were willing to work with me on some cheaper alternatives. In end, though, I decided to do it right and replace the whole blasted thing. Once again, the project was on time, under budget, and work was superb. It cost me less to have Molitor Elec. do it right with good quality components, than the other guy to do it wrong with crappy equipment.
