Hector installed an outside outlet for an Electric car (which also required a sub-breaker box, as the other was full). Service was outstanding. Quick response, reasonable (and free) estimate, and good back and forth communications during the project. He knows what he's doing, takes pride in his work, and doing things right. It's always good to find an honest, dependable person when you need work done, and I will call upon Hector's Modern Electric Company for any future electrical work. I recently contacted Hector at Modern Electric to fix wiring that was left hanging from a recent outdoor irrigation controller install. Needless to say, the hanging wire was an both eyesore and unsafe. Hector was prompt to come out for an inspection and super knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the scope of work he would perform to correct the issue and safeguard the wiring. Further, he was courteous, super meticulous, and his professionalism really helped to dial down my stress level on the issue. Hector scheduled the work within a reasonable time and was communicative at each step of the process. We are SUPER pleased with the work he did and told him, in no uncertain terms, that he's our new electrician. We definitely recommend/value this business and will happily use Modern Electric for our upcoming home projects.

Hector responded very quickly to my inquiry about a wiring problem with an extremely reasonable price that was much lower than the competitors that did respond with a price, not to mention he responded on a Sunday afternoon when many others just replied that they would contact me tomorrow. He showed up on time and went straight to the problem, but he didn't stop there. He took the time to take several photos ( the problem was in the attic) and show us some serious safety issues with our wiring. He installed several junction boxes to secure the wires and replaced a weak breaker, and all said and done still was $50 cheaper than the other quote just to come out. He even came out late to do the job, so my wife and I didn't have to take off work. Hector was very friendly, professional, and really made sure we knew exactly what he was doing and why. I can't think of a single thing that could have made this a better experience.

Hector of Modern Electric was the first to respond to my Yelp request. He was prompt, patient, & understanding (we had/have a family-challenge - requiring an unusual amount of diplomacy and tact). He diagnosed the problem and methodically solved it. Actually had to call him back out for an associated problem. He came out this morning and solved the issue.

I do not hesitate in recommending him for any electrical issue.

Outdoor sconce replacement. Hector answered my request promptly. He offered to come out after his calls a couple of days before Christmas. He made a trip to Lowe's after he determined what else was needed. He installed the new sconce and made sure it was water tight even though it required finishing after dark. Yes, I will hire him again. The price was reasonable and the work well done. Nice fellow.
