I have found my new electrician. I will defiantly be calling on Wil a Modern Electric again, and again.

Wil installed a Level 2 charger. He was prompt, engaging, and efficient. He suggested several options for approaching my job including adding extra outlets for the future. The run for my install was on the opposite side of my house. I had received some outrageous quotes for this job. Will's bid was very reasonable, but more over he spent time with me explaining the process and options.

He and his crew left the job site clean, and he followed up with me to make sure everything was satisfactory. He took care of the city permit and had that in my hand within 10 days of the inspection.
A+ for Modern Electric.

He is very clean and has good ideas on the best way to accomplish the task at hand. You can tell he has been doing this for a long time and enjoys what he does. Just called Will when our electrician had to cancel last minute on our renovation. He wasn't available, but went out of his way to find a good electrician who was available to help us. He has been in the business for 30 years and I felt he was trustworthy and genuinely interested in the success of our project- and he wasn't even getting paid! He is definitely someone I would bring in for my home project.

Wilbur installed a Tesla Wall Charger on the side of our garage in advance of our vehicles delivery. He was very fast at getting back to me through Yelp, gave me an estimate through SMS from pictures and measurements I sent, and did the install without me being home and to perfect specification. The charger looks/functions great and we couldn't be happier. I'll post a picture of the install soon.

Will was prompt and professional. He fixed the misconnections I made in installing my whole house fan and light switches. He also cared enough to give me pointers on electrical safety for my family for battery and wired carbon monoxide/smoke detectors and GFI outlets for the exterior of the house and the kitchen. Will use him again when I have my electric car charger put in.

I needed an electrician for a simple task of reversing the polarity on an outlet, but it needed to be coordinated with the arrival of a new appliance, and this was over the Memorial Day weekend. Much to my delight, I was able to talk Wil into sacrificing an hour of his Memorial Day and provide his expertise to help me.

Wil was quite punctual, and everything went off without a hitch. He was efficient, positive, paid a lot of attention to details -- and it was obvious to me that he cared deeply for a job well done. Although I only needed him for a small job, Wil demonstrated that he would be an excellence choice for a task of any size and scale. We were so happy with Wil and modern electric. He initially helped me because I bought a new electric car, and I Called a number of electricians for help with getting the right charger and the rebates and separate meter with LADWP, and he by far was the most knowledgeable. Charger was quickly installed and looks great, and he walked me through using it and was super helpful with the city rebate program.
Next, because we were so happy, my husband and I reached out to him about putting some
Much needed lighting in our high, dark living room ceiling. He gave us a great rate and completed the work super efficiently, 5 stars. He was timely, professional and cleaned up and got the job done super fast. Best of all we wanted to set up the new lights on a WeMo (wifi) switch and he was totally familiar with it and helped us set it up.
Overall a really great experience, all around and especially if you need anything modern, new or energy efficient... He is A+.
