I initially got referred by my next door neighbor who had his outlet installed for his Tesla. He sent me his contact and shortly after I reached out for a quote, the electrician responded. He asked for a couple pictures of the breaker and panels of my house and then immediately accordingly scheduled an install. The Electrician by the name of Luis came to my house and was very polite and very informative with the install. He properly installed unit on the side to the inside of my garage. It looks really clean btw. After, he showed me and made sure that the outlet provided the appropriate 240v. He also made sure we had the proper adapters and equipment to be sure our vehicle charged accordingly. Finally, when we came down to payment, he was very ""accommodating"" with his price. I strongly recommend anyone to these guys if they want electrical installed for their Tesla vehicles.

Luis and his team were fantastic. He helped me with installation of a Tesla wall connector (HPWC) in my garage and did a perfect job. Luis was professional, on-time, up-front and best of all, honest! The install wasn't the easiest since my electrical panel was on the opposite end of my home relative to wall connector's home in my garage but he made it look easy. Talk to however many people if you need to but Luis is the man for the job.

I was referred to Modern Century Electric when I picked up my Tesla from the Marina Del Rey delivery facility. I arrived a little earlier than my scheduled pick up time as I had not yet prepared my home for charging an electric vehicle. I picked up a home wall mounted charger and I asked an employee there by the name of Alex if he had anyone he could recommend me to hire to do the install and he referred me to Luis at Modern Century Electric. He promised me that his prices were very fair and more importantly, he knows what he's doing!

I called Luis yesterday in the late afternoon and he said that he would have to swing by and check if the breaker had space available and what options we could take to successfully install the charger. He told me he would arrive there at a certain time and arrived on time.

When he arrived he asked me to show him the breakerbox and asked me where I wanted to mount the charger. After showing him and taking measurements of the distance required, as I wanted the wall mount to be mounted outside the garage, he gave me a ballpark figure which I thought was very fair for the amount of work required, and the distance (60w at over 23ft).

He told me he could come by tomorrow morning at 10:30 and install it. The following day Luis and his colleagues Oscar, and Fermin arrived and commenced the installation. The whole install took a little over three hours and I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of work that they have done, including patching up the wall and painting the pipe.

The wall mount looks incredibly sleek mounted on the outside of the garage as Luis, Oscar, and Fermin installed the cable through the wall (see attached photos for more details.)

I get 32 miles of charge per hour currently which is incredible! I highly recommend Luis and Modern Century Electric for not only your EV/Tesla charging needs, but for all your home electric necessities as well!

TL;DR Look no further for your Tesla/EV charging needs. They know what they're doing.
