Had some old, wacky wires connected in the attic; got them properly connected through a junction box and mounted to the rafters. Responded with an estimate to my request through Yelp. Fit my repair in quickly to his schedule. Did the work well, in the time quoted. Showed up on time, cleaned up after. Definitely adding Moca Electric to my ""contractors to call again"" list.

Carlos the owner is extremely unreliable and unprofessional!! I made an appointment with him. He told me that the window would be 12-2 pm. On the day of the appointment he dispatched someone else to do the job. The person attempted to call me from his cell, but I didn't get the call as I programmed to have all unknown numbers to voicemail. That person didn't leave any voicemail, but supposedly reported it to Carlos. Carlos took it upon himself to have the person take the rest of the day off. I waited and waited, sent him a message via Yelp to Carlos close to 2 pm. He didn't respond. Finally I called him after 2 pm, and that's when he told me. He was unapologetic, as it was my fault for not picking up. Nor did he have the courtesy to attempt calling or texting me himself. I had to wait until after the window to find out that the job was canceled. It was very unprofessional! Do not engage in business with him.

Contacted another electrician about fixing some outlets, troubleshooting some issues and adding an outlet. Yelp offered to send the quote request to other electricians and thankful that Carlos was one of them. Others offered appointments a week away, didn't show or wanted to charge for a quote. Carlos came out the next day, gave me his professional opinion and went right to work. Reasonable price, quick, knowledgeable. An hour or so later, we are all good! Going to want lights installation for our bathroom soon and he will be our guy.

It's my second time using Moca Electric with technician Carlos. He was very professional, responded in a reasonable amount of time and did an excellent job!! He first installed some dusk to dawn lights around my house. He returned to make some minor adjustments with no problems returning. The last job he connect outside light on my garage to the garage door opener!
Should I need any further electrical work done, I'm calling Moca Electric!

Carlos is a great professional personal. I reached out to him through Yelp as I was looking over for electrician to install a 240V charger for my electric car. Carlos was proactive in replying back to my message and followed up with the phone call to schedule time to view the site and provide me a quote. Carlos quoted me great price in comparison to the crazy high prices all the other folks I have reached through yelp quoted me. As everyone had the statement that material prices are too high due to Covid which apparently isn't the case for an EV charger install as one only needs a 40 amp circuit breaker, 8 amp wire gauge and how much duct pipe you wanna run from the panel to the installation site. I would highly recommend Carlos for electric jobs as his work is professional, organized and Carlos ensures that installation is done with high standards. Surely my go to guy for future electric jobs and would be recommending him to people around me if they need an electrician. Thanks A lot Carlos for a great experience.
