Been a customer of MI for years now. They make my twin girls faces light up as much as my house during the holidays. Very precise and professional.
I have also been smart enough to use them for school fundraiser decor. They've transformed an ordinary ballroom into a raging 80s party. Very creative ideas with a variety of ways to make your event truly spectacular.

Only days before the Memorial for Chester Bennington of Linkin Park at the Hollywood Bowl, the Band wanted to transform the venue with hundreds of thousands lights in the trees all around the venue in the spirit of their song ""One More Light."" Mobile Illumination scrambled to execute a truly amazing tribute to a beautiful person with a beautiful heart. Their professionalism and care to this occasion will never be forgotten. Thank you.

I have been using Mobile Illumination for many years now, mostly for Holiday lighting. Most recently they installed permanent backyard lighting on several trees for an event! They stole the show and my yard looks gorgeous every evening! They are lovely to work with and Kaytia is a fantastic designer and was able to help me stay on budget. If there was ever an issue (due to rain, etc), she always had someone come out immediately to handle. Their items are of the highest quality which explains for the slightly higher cost.

Had many years of wonderful service with this company (as shown in my original post), but was compelled to update our review after what was a terrible experience. Normally I would not post such a thing however the work, service and overall lack of care for us as a customer was appalling. The young lady in the office was incredibly rude after calling and attempting to correct their billing error. Was then given a general manger who was equally as disingenuous. Then had to call countless times just to get lights fixed, only to have to wait multiple days. Not sure what has happened, but will be hoping they can't correct it.

As an estate manager and personal assistant, promptness and attention to the finer things is important to me and my client. From start to finish I was very impressed with this company. Receptionist was courteous and our designer Dan was wonderful to deal with. We are not an easy account to deal with and their patience was noted. Strong recommendation and welcome to contact for referral.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LIGHTS THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH ON THEIR CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT.
This was our THIRD YEAR doing lights with Mobile Illumination and paying over 5000$ for lights that other people pay less than half that for. A part of the reason you pay so much is that they are supposed to send someone to fix your lights immediately if they go out. I called over 4 Times and spoke to Noelle who is extremely rude and flippant. NO ONE EVER CAME OUT AND FIXED MY LIGHTS!!! Frank the supposed general manager was just as rude and said he would call me back, he never did. All through Christmas my lights were out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS OR YOUR LOYALTY.

I've been using this company for the past three years. Last year the rep for my area changed and it's now this guy named Kosta. He could care less about the client and clients requests. I called to set up my house again with lights just the same exact way as last year and he tells me he and his manager have reviewed my house and decided that unless they charge me over an additional $1,000 this business is not worth it to them. How unprofessional.. I will never use them again. Horrible business ethics. I understand business and prices going up for service, however $1,000? Unacceptable!!! I have now found a different company with great service. Keep your lights Mobile Illumination

Do not order from here if you expect customer service AFTER they've taken your money. They are very nice and responsive at first, but once you pay if something goes wrong with your lights you are out of luck.
And that's after I paid over 3k for Christmas lights.

I referred MI to my best client, Patrón Tequila, to decorate the Patrón owner's yacht for the Newport Beach Boat Parade. They knocked it out of the park. Also worked with Chad on his team as they transformed the Playboy Mansion into a sparkling magical adult wonderland. They are super talented and have the best attitudes in town!

Have worked with Mobile Illuminations for several years. Being a fairly engaging home owner I was resistant to hiring a company to hang our lights, however with a persistent wife, an increased work load and a demanding family schedule, I conceded. After year one I was hooked. We met with Dan who walked our home and spoke of the many options, while showing us a catalog of work. Being the inquisitive type, I had an assortment of questions and concerns. Dan always took my calls and was patient with my procrastination. After a week of complaining to my wife about the money we decided to proceed with the job, and have not been disappointed yet. The installers were very cordial and professional. The work took longer than we expected and the guys wore little head lamps to allow them to work into the night, something we found quite amusing. We had a few outages throughout the month and they came out promptly to repair. Frustrating but understandable. We have had similar positive experiences each year since, and we always look forward to our homes photograph and Christmas tree. We have since become friends with Dan and a few of the young men on the installation team, each of whom seem to be equally as enthusiastic as we are, and always greet us with a smile. If you are considering Christmas lighting for your home I would suggest this company. Thank you Mobile Illuminations!
