Made an appointment for a lightning designer to come out for an estimate, I took time off work, no one showed, no one called. Just booked my business with someone else. Very disrespectful.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Their sales/administrative/management/service departments do not communicate, they operate in a rogue fashion, not scheduling repairs in a timely manner, asking for payment on a work order before the work is performed. Showing up unannounced, charging my card for substandard repairs that should have been corrected without charge. We contacted Mobile Illumination to install lighting on our tree in our backyard. After negotiating a price (paid in cash) that worked for us, your salesperson, Oscar Sosa managed the team during the installation. It was clearly understood that as the tree grows, the lighting strands would need to be adjusted. After about one year, a part of the lower trunk stopped lighting. I called Mobile Illumination to schedule a service call, and was told that I would have to pay a service charge upfront of $325.00 in order to get my work order scheduled. I found this odd as it was not apparent exactly what the scope of work would be, but I agreed to pay this. After I paid the service fee upfront, I then called at least 4 times to get on the schedule. Finally getting scheduled, Mobile Illumination sent a worker out to troubleshoot the issue with the tree. I asked that he address the area that wasn't lighting and to also take a look at the trunk to see if the strands needed to be loosened. He did not have the correct strand color with him and had to come back. He did return and addressed the lower area that was not working. One day after the ""repair"" a larger part of the tree didn't work. Again, I had to call over three times to get this addressed as I was charged, and the work again, was substandard and the issue not corrected. Mobile Illumination was not proactive in addressing the issue and in addition, did not contact me to schedule the repair. This past weekend, and to our surprise, a worker just showed up in our backyard, without prior notification. My daughter happened to be home and called me so I could communicate with the technician. I asked him why he just showed up and why I had not been notified. His response was, ""I had a list of jobs to take care of and you were on the list."" I was not informed that there was going to be an additional charge, I assumed that he was correcting the prior substandard work that the last technician performed. In addition to the mismanagement of my job, a charge came through on my credit card last night for $721.53. This charge was not authorized. Mobile Illumination was not authorized to maintain my credit card information on file.

I just got work done by this company and it was a pleasure to work with. Rob was my lights designer and he did an incredible job. My house looks amazing with the new lights. Rob did everything and anything to make this project an amazing experience for my family. I will be doing more work with them. Price is very reasonable for the work they do. 5 Stars all the way.

I only write reviews if a company really deserves it, impressing me enough to stop my busy day to let people know, ""stop looking and call these guys!"" I emailed Mobile Illumination and received a pretty quick reply to set up an appointment to get a bid on outdoor lighting. I asked if they could come in the morning at 8:30? The reply was, ""10am is the earliest"". I didn't get right back to them, till about 8:30am the next morning, asking if they could come at 10am. No reply. I then asked if they could come later in the day. Again .. no response. I emailed again and mentioned I can find another lighting company if they are too busy. Again, no response. It's unbelievable that business is that good they would just ignore a potentially big job and not even give someone a courtesy call back to try and set up an appointment. To me, this isn't a company who wants or needs business.

I can not say enough good things about this company! Jesse is very talented at designing outdoor lighting. We have permanent outdoor lighting that makes our large yard into a wonderland. Nathan keeps his word on appointments and charges and very good on follow through. We have been extremely pleased at every level.

Worst experience we have ever had with any contractor both in terms of performance and customer service!
We paid in full for all new landscape lighting and then discovered several problems with the lighting that Mobile Illumination had installed, both major and minor. In addition, our credit card was charged in full without our authorization, before the contract was completed. Despite the fact that we reached out to Mobile Illumination multiple times via phone and email to have them fix the problems, M I refused to take responsibility for any of the issues brought to their attention including inoperative lights, loose wires, and outlets not finished to code.
In order to make all of the new lights operative and complete the job to code, we had to call in a different electrical contractor at our additional expense to correct Mobile Illumination's shoddy work.
Clearly a miserable experience that MI has repeated with quite a few customers if you read all the Yelp reviews. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

Nice internet site. Responsive in selling me a package. Problem was with the follow thru and operational follow up.
Hung my Holiday lights mostly on one circuit. Overloaded the circuit, combined with the rain, and our Holiday lights were out most of the season. They actually came back once and set it back up the same way. When I finally got a call from the supervisor, who promised to get back to me, he tried to put the blame on me. This is a service organization without service. They billed me in advance and proved to be the Scrooge of the Holiday season. I would never recommend this company to anyone!
Big disappointment to my family and grandkids.. Lots of money, no value, I'll look in the future for a company that understands lifetime value of repeat customers...
