I called on a Wednesday evening at 9PM expecting to get someone's voicemail. Seriously - 9PM. And Matt the owner picks up and asks when I need help. I was absolutely shocked. He had KJ come at 730am the Friday before New Years to come and install dimmers and rewire my whole house before we had guests over. KJ came in and fixed my sad attempts at installing the dimmers myself. He did everything in an hour and was cordial, on time, and just a great guy. I'll never call anyone else again for electric work!!!

MMR just installed overhead lighting ( chandeliers and a fan) in my house, which required working in my attic. The prices are very reasonable and their work is very professional. Plus they're just so polite and nice to be around. And they work very diligently and efficiently, and clean up well. This is the second time I've used them and I'm very pleased. I will have them back when I'm ready to install recessed lights.

Matt and his crew was wonderful. What a lifesaver! He helped with my father's house emergency electrical issues and got in done in a timely basis. He bailed me out again replacing a faulty fuse box that s more than 40 years old in Pasadena.

This is a late review but I had work done with MMR electric about a year ago at my business. They were very professional and worked around my business to ensure there was a little impact on my business as possible while doing work. They were efficient and prepared when they came and did work to my business during operating hours. They worked around my customers and were polite to them. If you need electrical work done to your business these are the guys for that. That hear out your concerns and needs and will work around what you need done while not negatively impacting your business.

Thanks, Matt! My mom was having a problem in the computer room, with her computer constantly powering off and the light flickering on and off. So I was at work and texted her a bunch of numbers of electricians who were highly rated on Yelp. She called a bunch of people and only three responded. Matt was one of the two and said he could only come in three days. Meanwhile another electrician came and didn't find anything wrong (which is super frustrating when you're having a problem) and charged $60 for coming out. (Another electrician wanted to charge $125 just to come out.)

I was surprised that my mom still wanted to wait the three days and have Matt come out. However, this proved to be a good decision, as it only took him about 10-15 minutes to find the issue. (I think it was a worn breaker or something. I wasn't really listening.) He charged $90 to come out and $20 for the new breaker, which he had with him. Fair price and my mom was more than satisfied that her problem was solved. She was even happy that he said he'd have no problem coming back if the issue returned.

Let me first start off by saying people don't have to be nice...

Now for everyone else these amazing electricians came to my home thinking they would have to fix a breaker, that wasn't the problem... 3 technicians worked at my house from Monday am to Wednesday afternoon, they took my whole house a part and found the problem which was bad wiring, I am a music supervisor and have a studio in the back so I was out of work and panicking! my kitchen lights... Out my dining room... Out washroom out master bedroom OUT... they found a way to repair, but after thinking on it the fact that I could be In danger?! He said listen... I will walk away after working at ur home for 2 days 6+ hours because I will not put you in danger... I'm tripping now guys! Lol he said we have to rewire your whole back area.. little pricey but had to be done.. they come in today Re wired the whole area added two breakers so now my kitchen and studio and office are on their own power grids, put my house back together cosmetically, and then Took 300 off of the price!!! You serious!!!!!!

I LOVE THESE GUYS PLEASE IF YOU WANT HONEST EFFICIENT WORK? HIRE THEM!

I called MMR Electric because I lost power in my kitchen. They were able to find the problem caused by a electrical short. Thank you for taking care of it in a timely fashion shortly after I called you. I will be referring them to any family and friends!!

called on a Sunday to look at my electrical problem. basically had some lights that just weren't switching on... checked the breaker, and things looked as it should.
so based on yelp reviews, i call MMR, and at first was happy he took my call. i asked him if he could take a look at my problem, and within a couple hours he shows up. yaay!

things start out cool... he quickly diagnose the problem as a local light-switch issue, and opens up the switch plate. apparently a copper wire got loose, so proceeds to clean up the wire and recaps everything. the whole thing didn't take more than 15mins, 30mins max... cost of this house call = $200

i was shocked! to be honest, i thought he was kidding because he says the cost was ""2-bucks"". apparently ""bucks"" means ""hundred!""
i light-heartedly said that that's expensive, but according to Matt, he was giving me a good deal, because normally it would've been blah-blah-blah. in addition, it was the 'boss' that came, and not an underling.
at this point, he already did all the work, and i really couldn't refuse. hey, i'm self-employed too, and understand paying when payments due.
in hindsight, i should've asked how much the house call would've been; in which i would've just shopped around.

bottomline, he fixed it, and now i have lights.
but after all that, i feel like i got hosed. and that feels pretty damn terrible.

Last night all of the kitchen appliances and the heater suddenly went out. No power. All of the circuit breakers appeared to be on, but still no power. I called MMR this morning and Matt, who happened to be in the area made a quick stop. He checked the circuit breakers and ""fiddled"" with one and the POP you heard the power come on. He assured me that the breaker was in good condition. No charge. Let me say that again. No charge. It may have been simple for him, but for us it was very important. Can't say enough about his service. I have already recommended him for another home which needs work done. Call him when you need something done. R.Doten
