Fantastic work on an unknown problem. Mike diagnosed the mystery to the flickering lights in my hundred year old house, repaired it, and even followed up to make sure it was good. This is the kind of workmanship that is missing so much today; good to know it's still out there.

Have a ceiling fan on a back patio that needs to be replaced. And attic vent motor two simple jobs I called around these guys seem to be local which I like and that service charge wasn't as much as everyone else's and they said they can get out the next morning at 8:00 a.m. sounded great. I had already purchased a replacement ceiling fan for patio and taken down the old one so it was already prepped up and ready to go brand new one up in the box right there waiting , same with the attic vent motor . $400.00 before taxes the guy wanted to charge me. Ridiculous ask him why it was so much he couldn't really explain said it was a standard charge didn't have it written down he just had to think about it and come up with a number.. paid the service charge which was the only thing reasonable. Then the man in this call me back said he left his equipment so I need to see him again very disgusted I always would rather use a local company with these guys proved me wrong again$400 to put up a ceiling fan and motor for attic fan is totally ridiculous robbery..

We had a sizable project of lighting and wiring our downstairs and after getting several quotes, we decided on MK Electric. We could not have been more pleased with the work done and the outcome. Mr. Kelley came out for a consultation, gave some great insight, and delivered with exceptional work. Thomas, our electrician, went above and beyond to ensure that we were pleased with the project.
Some of the other quotes were absurdly high (backed by a Google guarantee) and tried pushing for things that we didn't want or need. I have a feeling that the others have to be backed by Google for a reason after our assessment. Using a local expert like MK Electric Man was everything we hoped for. 5 stars isn't enough.

Today i just had this company install a 20kw home stand by generator on my house.

These guys not only installed the best brand, Generac but beat 3 other prices by more than half! Everyone else was giving me $18,000 and they did it for $8200!

They came by, looked at my service, seen how many amps i was pulling, told me what size i needed. They knew exactly what they were doing. They ordered it, installed everything, and now im ready for hurricane season!

I have never technicians with such class!

My fiance hired MK because we didn't know who else to go to. He picked a bad first choice. They were hired because we had a dimmer switch on one strip of track lighting around which the wall would become extremely warm. Not only did the guy charge us over $150 to ""replace"" the entire dimmer switch (he replaced it with the exact same thing, I'm told), he had to leave to go to Home Depot and come back with an additional part. Completely unprofessional.

Oh, and the problem still wasn't solved. $150+ and an entire day, and our wall was still getting extremely warm. Thank goodness I began asking around and found an electrician who charged us a mere $75 to do that and some other work, and actually didn't have to make a trip to Home Depot! Imagine that!

MK Electric rewired my kitchen on short notice. Their pricing was steep but we decided to pay for quality after a bad experience with another contractor. Six mos later light switches in my kitchen started failing, along with the vent hood that was not supposed to be linked to the switches. Now, 9 mos later, my dimmer switch for the can lights in the ceiling has failed. MK electric cannot be counted on to put quality materials into your job. Beware.
