After receiving multiple quotes for our electrical work, we chose MJK Electric to do the job. I cannot say good enough things about this business and their crew!
They showed up right on time with four crew members and a trainee. The entire team worked efficiently and effectively splitting up the work among themselves. The trainee worked side by side with the master electrician who explained things to him and had him do small odds and ends.
The entire team was very respectful and courteous. They did not lollygag and completed the job in the time frame as promised.
We had high hopes of them finishing the job in one day but they had to finish up for half a day the next day (as agreed upon pet contract)
They installed several hi-hats, replaced/installed four ceiling fans, modified and or upgraded light switches, upgraded existing electrical work in my garage.
We pointed out one snafu and they quickly agreed to correct it as it was stated in the proposal. Honestly having four of the hi-hats on the same switch really didn't make much of a difference to us.
There was an electrical issue with our halfway light and with our front porch light/sconces on the garage door.
They immediately came out the next day to rectify that problem as well.
MJK s very professional and I felt very confident about them from the estimate to the very end of the job. I would not recommend any other electrician and look forward to using them again soon.

Horrible service. The gentleman was an hour late with no call and had a really bad attitude. To put the icing on the cake they charged me a $50 ""mobilizing "" fee. AM I SUPPOSED TO BRING MY HOUSE TO THEM??

Repaired patio light circuit day/night sensor ""eye"" blown out by lightning strike.
Took a short time to detect wiring OK, replaced damaged control unit.
Tested all lights, replaced old bulbs, with owner.
Good service, easy scheduling, efficient and knowledgeable electrician, courteous.

Before, MJK had done a major job to install a new electric tankless water heater as sub-contractor to 4Star Plumbing for me.
This involved running a new high amperage line from outside main box across the attic to the closet where the heater was installed to replace old tank type water heater.
Sized the tankless heater well, did the wiring most efficiently and cleanly, with a nice finished appearance.
