Phil from Mitchell Electric was simply amazing today when we needed help with a prong that broke off in the wall outlet of my kids's room. I left a message and he called me back promptly, then arrived at my door about 45 mins after that. He was friendly and knowledgeable and had our problem resolved in minutes. His rate was extremely reasonable and I am happy to recommend him to anyone who needs a great electrician.

Best electrician I ever met. Very convenient that Mr. Mitchell is available on Saturdays. He is extremely honest and highly knowledgeable. Hourly rate is a better choice because he will be done the work faster than your expectations. By the way, he afraid to deal with different sorts of spiders and their nets on an attics. Just kidding!!! Thank you, Phill for your hard work and rewiring of my friends and my house.

Phil is a hidden gem!
We had a small electrical problem that we couldn't figure out on our own. Phil was friendly enough to walk us through troubleshooting our problem over the phone, and even stopped by to fix what we couldn't. Of all the electricians we called, he was friendliest and most willing to explain in detail what he was doing, so that we could fix a similar problem ourselves in the future.
Phil, you're very appreciated in our household, and we will be recommending you to all of our friends.

There aren't enough words to express my gratitude for Phil. We opened a retail store in San Jose and could not get through the city without an electrical contractor. I cold called him one morning, he answered on the first ring, he said he'd be happy to help, and he endlessly proved his reliability. When he said he'd call, he called. When he said he'd show up, he was there. When I needed him to meet me at the City of San Jose for permits, he met me. Over the six weeks that he worked on our complete lighting installation in a commercial space, he was an absolute pleasure (note that his work only took a week, but the city and lighting equipment caused numerous delays). I trusted every decision he made, and we are still in awe of the amazing results. Yes, we chose the track lights, the pendants, and the placement, but he turned something that we saw on paper into a magical work of art in our retail space. I am so thrilled that he does everything from small residential work to major commercial jobs like mine, and he is now and always will be our go-to guy for electrical work. In a time when the construction industry is booming and almost every contractor or architect doesn't even return phone calls and won't show up for appointments, Phil is light years ahead with customer service. He can do anything and will do anything. He doesn't take no for an answer, and he doesn't back down when faced with obstacles. He encouraged me on the phone many times and told me not to give up when I wanted to do exactly that when dealing with the city. Both my husband and I are so grateful that we found him, and we will miss dealing with him on a daily basis.

Phillip Mitchell of Mitchell Electric is AWESOME! I called him late in the afternoon to troubleshoot a ceiling fixture that wasn't working (my house is over 90 yrs. old with mostly knob and tube wiring) which just makes me leery of potential problems. Phil was here in a half hour. The issue ended up being ""homeowner error"" and he didn't lecture me about it at all (haha). Great rates, super nice and efficient service. I'll be calling Awesome Phil for all future electrical needs for this old house.

I can't say enough about Phillip Mitchell of Mitchell Electric. I live in a condominium in San Jose and started a bathroom remodel. Researched a number of local electricians but was referred to Phil by South Bay Blinds. Phil is really the best. He called exactly when he said he would... and showed up right on time for both the estimate and the work day. He really goes the extra mile with every step. Friendly, courteous, clean, amazing attention to detail, all at a fantastic price. I've worked with contractors for many years and if I need any electrical work done in the future, I'm calling Phil at Mitchell Electric. Five Stars!!!!
