Unless you want to spend all of your hard earned money on things you do not need. Do bot call this company. They tried to rip me and my wife off with. 20k quote for something that was really a 2500 dollar job.

I was debating on leaving a review on my experience with these people but I just can't get over how they almost had me spend over 11k in repairs which included them replacing the outer breaker panel at the minimum. The first option was 27k for both inner and outer panels. When all I need to do was replaced the light switch in the house that fired due to the connection being loose. I'm not going to say names but the tech had mentioned to me how a client sold him his bike to pay for repair. When he went into the garage to check my inner breaker panel he saw I had a bmw bike. They ran my credit to see if I could get approved and seeing me frustrated that I wasn't he made the comment on me selling him by Bmw rr1000. THE NERVE! He told me I couldn't use my stove or dryer due to the outer panel ""over heating,"". I had another company come out next day and told me that those repairs weren't necessary and all it was just the connection of the switch being loose witch cause it to fry when I plugged in my space heater.

My elderly parents (in their mid 80s) had work done by Mr. Sparky back in June, $3900. I do not live close. I visited last week and was shocked to see that in the master bath, the plug near the sink had not been replaced with a GFI plug, which is where the problem started because the plugs were not working. My parents didn't know anything about it and pulled the paperwork for me and the first thing it said is it is required that all plugs near water be replaced with GFI as per code! It literally shocked me. My parents had no idea - they had not replaced any plugs in the master bath at all! Also, the bill for $3900 is not itemized with a cost per service - it is in units so you can't tell what they were charged for what service. It said 3 units for GFI receptacles, which there was one in the guest bath near the sink and two in the kitchen that are not even close to water, not in the master bath near the sink where my mother plugs in her hair dryer and curling iron! Disgusting. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone and I suggest you check if they came out to your house or anyone you know, you make sure they installed proper GFI plugs at any receptacle near a water source as is required and is even stated on their own contract!

Quality work done when replacing kitchen light fixtures. We've used Mister Sparky several times and they have been very good each time.

This company is crooked, fraudulent and intimidating. They gave us an estimate for some electrical work. We forwarded the estimate to our insurance company along with other estimates. We received approval from the insurance company and Mr Sparky contacted us saying they were responsible for having it approved and that we were obligated to use them. Mr. Sparky had contacted our insurance company without our permission, the insurance company had never mentioned them to us. Mr Sparky's estimate contained some fraudulent info. We had already decided to use another company as some of Mr Sparky's business policies seemed a little questionable. Then My Sparky aka Firefly sent us a $1400 bill allegedly for the time they had spent having the estimate approved. We had never signed anything for them, had never agreed to anything and they had never mentioned a bill for working with our insurance company and we were shocked they had contacted our insurance company without our approval. Their communications are full of threats and lies. Beware!

All people in San Antonio and surrounding areas. As I said before, do NOT use Mr. Sparky? Read my 2 reviews please. And please read the owner's response. They are very canned and identical, or very similar.
There is no attempt to take the time to write an individual response that addresses the individual concerns and complaints. I do not believe that the owner cares at all about any of his customers, just how much money he can make. Avoid Mr. Sparky like the bubonic plague?

The workers that came to our home to do our electrical work were fantastic. They told us everything they were doing. They cleaned up after their selves. They were awesome. So for them 5 out of 5 stars.
The office staff are horrible! At this point 1 star is being generous.
We have made 3 payments and are fixing to make the 4th on the work that was done. We are waiting on Mister Sparky and CPS to come finish the work. We were told it would be a 2-3 week wait and its been almost 4 months.
We call the office and the lady that answers the phone says she will have someone call us back and no one ever calls, and she wont give us a name or a number that we can call directly. Not sure is its a lack of customer care, since they have their money, they don't care anymore or if they are just super unorganized.
My husband talked to someone yesterday and they said they would call back. No call back.

I needed electrical ran for a HotTub. I was given 4 quotes from this company ranging from 12k to 4K. When I got the written estimate, it only had 3 quotes, and none of them were the 4K quote. I called 3 other companies, and got a quote for 5500, 3000, and 2000. I feel like this company is a massive rip off, And they push for the most expensive quote telling you the other quotes don't use good materials and have lesser warranties. They also tried to say that if I wanted it
Run underground, it'd be another 7k to use the trencher, even though you can literally rent one from home depot for 700 bucks for a whole week, and alllllll the other companies only quoted me 2k extra
for underground. Save yourself the time and service fee, call a different electrical company.

I would absolutely recommend you stay clear of this company. They lack professionalism, setting proper expectations, and don't follow through. It has been a horrible experience from the beginning. I should of known better when Isaac, ( sale person) could not really explain what the difference from the $60,000 quote to the $13,000 quote. We were expected to read summaries of each and choose one. Then Isaac ensured us cps would be out by 7 to make sure we had power for the night since they would be starting working on our home the next morning. After 8 I called cps to check on the status of them coming out and it was never called in. The next morning we received a text at 7:20 am they would be at our home in an hour, they showed up after 11:30. Work was not completed due to cps needing to come back to move service out to the new box which they made it seem like it was not big deal and it would be soon. While we were waiting for cps to come out our breaker continued to trip to the tech install really slow wattage. I reached out to Isaac to for an update on cps coming out, no response. I called the company and I was told are you sure your calling the right place because I can't find an order for you. Then I was suppose to get a call back from someone at the office , big surprise no call. Isaac finally called back to inform me that it would be 5-8 weeks before cps would be out. That's unacceptable, we could not continue to reset the breaker all the time ( had to reset 3 time just to take a shower) along with electricity lines left on the ground. That's a huge safety issue. A manager reached out after I request several times to be called. He apologized and ensured me that he would be following up with me. Big surprise! He didn't.

Mister Sparky will not quote over the phone, they ask for a service fee to send out a technician to give you a quote/do the work. They quoted almost triple what 4 other companies quoted me which leads me to believe their business practice is to charge an absorbent amount knowing that either the customer will say no but they still get the service fee or the customer says yes because the customer feels trapped having already paid the service fee. Technician was friendly but very shady business practice. Do not recommend.
