I had a bit of emergency situation when my chandelier from 20 foot ceilings, decided it didn't want to stay attached to the ceiling any longer. While it remained dangling from just a few wires I sent a quote request out on Angi. Mister Sparky was the second call I received. The dispatcher said he would check to see if he could get someone out that night so the chandelier didn't fall to the floor. He got all of my info and put the call out and then confirmed he did have someone who could come out between 6 and midnight.

Within 30 minutes I received a call to learn they could not come out that night as due to the ceiling height as it was a 2 person job. They knew my ceiling height when they took the job so I was a little surprised. I sent a picture of the chandelier and the electrician said he thought it would make it through the night and would come first thing in the morning. I agreed because I had already told 2 other electricians I had someone coming so didn't have much choice.

Luckily the chandelier held on for dear life and made it to the morning. The electrician and his helper arrived on time and were very friendly. I was a bit surprised by the quote being over $400 just to rehang the chandelier but I was stuck. So I agreed. As they started the work I was informed it would be now over $500 because they wanted to use a metal bracket instead of plastic. Or I could go shopping and buy a lighter chandelier. Really? Well at this point I agreed because I wasn't going shopping.

The guys were great, did communicate the entire way through and cleaned up the huge mess that was made. Although I was irritated on the scheduling issue and the price, it is what it is and the guys were great so hence 4 stars.

Eric provided quotes and advised on our options. We made decisions and work was completed without delay. When you want the electrician to show up and do a quality job, call Mister Sparky. We had used Mister Sparky in another state and found consistent quality. We are confident they will still be in business next time we need electrical work, and will call them again. Nice people too, so that is a bonus.

Technician was Troy, he was timely and very helpful. He did great work, was able to accommodate our specific request and just did a great job overall.

Mr Paul from Mr Sparkys called me in regards to a request for service I made thru Angi.com. It was hard to explain the job I needed done as Angis service doesn't give many options to write what you actually need and they over charge for simple jobs. If I was in better health I would do it myself but I can't.
After explaining what I needed Me Paul assured me that even though they usually don't do these small jobs he would definitely send a guy out to help me. Demetris showed up at my door with the biggest smile, best personality and was genuinely happy to help me out. He hung the lights in my yard in no time, we talked about my Memorial garden and he said to call Mr Sparky whenever I need some help!
Even the girls in the office are very nice to talk to!
