I needed a way to hook up my generator. Mister Sparky are the only ones that called back for an estimate. Jason came on a Saturday and said that he could not add the plug for the generator because my electrical box had been burned and the entire box needed to be replaced for a very expensive $7500. Jason also said that many other companies don't have the parts currently, but Mister Sparky has the parts. The next day the tech Wes came and put in the new box, but they were waiting on the part for the generator, and it would be there in 2 weeks. Two weeks went by and no response, I called and spoke with the office, and they said they would check on it. I received a call the following day and they said the part was there and scheduled for the following Saturday. I received a call that day to say there was an emergency and they wouldn't make it that day and rescheduled for the next Saturday. The following Saturday I received a call from Wes who reports he never received the part. Therefore, I called the office and spoke with Brian who put me on a long hold and said instead of staying on hold he will call me back. I never received the call back, so I sent a text and he responded by saying Wes would be contacting me soon. By 5 pm, I never heard from anybody and the person answering the phone was somebody new and was completely left out of the loop. They said they would forward to branch manager, but they would be out of the office until Monday. I have given up 2 Saturdays and still the original request has not been completed even though they have been paid. After sending numerous pictures of the original breaker box to other electricians, if the wires weren't burned the box did not need to be changed. Per Wes, the wires were not burned. Their website shay ""we're on time, You'll see or the repair is free."" Well, it's been one month.

Worst customer service from management and the Tech. was the biggest liar ever. Called to make the appointment and they gave me a window of 2pm-6pm made sure someone was home. Received a text message at 4:30pm to cancel do to tech out on an emergency call ask me to call to reschedule. When doing so they said I had to wait until tomorrow or I could pay an up charge of $180.00 and they would come out tonight. I informed them I was not paying and up charge for there mistake. Spoke to several managers until I got the fee waived and they were sending someone out to fix the smoke detector. The tech arrived and hour later and said all smoke detectors would need to be change as well as my carbon monoxide detectors so they could talk with one and other. What talk with one an other??? He stated that is the law. I informed him that is not the law that is the suggestion. He gave me a price of over 2,000. dollars. I again told him I only need the one looked at and or replace. He stated he would be breaking the law and ask for the 2,000. that's when I showed him the door. This company is very deceitful and I have reported them to the BBB and also to the Florida Department of Business and Professional. They need to be shut down. If I could give them no stars I would. HOME OWNERS BEWARE!

Had scheduled someone to come out and look at an electrical issue in a house I'm buying. Called and got it scheduled, but they said they had to call the seller to get his permission. No problem. I'm out the house the day of the appt waiting when I get a text towards the end of the appt window saying it's scheduled for the next day. I call to find out why and get told there was an emergency call that came in. I ask what constitutes an emergency during normal business hours when I'm already on the schedule. I was told ""someone willing to pay more money."" They were out the following day and were able to correct the issue after trying to upset my wife for several thousand dollars. Forgot to have them look at one other thing. Called to get it scheduled. They take the payment over the phone for the service call, but them when another emergency comes up for the 2nd appt I get told they can't discuss it with me because I'm buying the home and don't own it yet. I ask to speak with a manager and they refuse to speak with me. Then I get yelled at by customer service saying ""what do you expect me to do, i just work in scheduling. Finally get them scheduled to come back out, scheduled between 12 and 4. I get a call at 4 saying they can he there in about an hour. Do not waste your time with this company.

Needed 2 exterior flood lights and 2 interior garage lights installed. I have the lights. Was quoted $550 per light, $2200!!! ridiculous.

The light bulb over my outside doorway was out.

I changed the bulb but it didn't work.

I called Mr. Sparky. The guy fi had to remove the circuit breaker panel and check it.

He tried to sell me an entire new cir breaker panel.

Then he suggested that I h him change every electrical outlet and switch in my entire house.

I asked him to just look at the light that was out.

He sai that he needed to do a diagnostic check first.

Did I want the $150 diagnostic or the $250 diagnostic.

I told him to reattach the circuit breaker panel, and leave.

I called his office and told his supervisor what happened.

The supervisor supported the worker, saying that is their standard procedure.

Stay away from this shady company.

After scheduling one week in advance, our appointment was bumped for an emergency. We had blocked off an entire morning to be home fir them, so we were upset. I called to cancel and although they apologized profusely, they offered no solution to our problem. Don't use these guys!
Only gave one star because the phone clerks were so nice.

I wasted months awaiting a final, correct quote on installing an EV car charger for my wife's new car from Mr. Sparky.

I am a renter and had to include my landlord in the process. He requested additional work and we were awaiting the final, comprehensive quote. It never came, even after months of countless calls.

In addition, the initial quote was almost double what I was quoted on the site visit and it was way out of line with typical prices. (I have been planning this for years.) I was willing to spend more if it was done very well, but still...

I did not give one star because the visiting Mr. Sparky electrician did point out that another electrician (who also blew me off, never submitting any quote) from Devereaux Electtical had advised a connection design that would have been incompatible with EV car charging.

My landlord contacted his usual electrician. That guy is so booked up that we could wait another three months. Try owning an EV with no home charger. It is not easy. Thanks a lot Mr. Sparky!

FYI, I am reluctant to trash companies on Yelp, having read unjust reviews of some of my employers in the past. I usually am posting positive posts. So you can take that into account while reading this review.

To answer Mr. Sparky's question, it is the R.I. franchise.
