I had Mr sparky come out and give me a price on some outdoor lighting, among some other small jobs. The tech quoted me around $2400 also wanted to do a panel upgrade. I asked about his exp. He wasn't even an electrician. They work under the companies certification. Once I heard that. I hired a real electrician. Lastly. You need to check your employees temp and symptoms. This guy at our house was coughing alot. I disinfected the house when he left.

Literally the worst! They over book customers and always cancel on the day of your service, claiming to have an emergency for one of the electricians. They have done this to me twice. Save yourself the time and trouble and book someone else!

They are a ripe off, first thing they want to do is replace your electrical panel 4000.00 what a joke just to do a simple job. Scared my daughter in to thinking she was putting her children in danger. What a joke.
Please don't bother.

For me, Mister Sparky is the best. The team that take care of my house over the last 3 years is amazing. I live in North Miami, and this weekend I was struck by lightning. Thank God, nothing serious happened. They came as soon as I call them. They were respecting all the COVID protocols. Wearing masks and making sure that we kept distant from each other. Big shout out to the team that helps me here in North Miami. Mr. Carlos, Mr. Jiuver, and the entire team.

I had Mr. Spark come out to give an estimate for updating my breaker panel with copalum connectors. The estimator told me I had to replace the entire breaker box and that there is evidence of charring. He pressed me to sign immediately, telling me the whole thing was very dangerous and could set my house on fire any minute. I asked him to show me the charring but didn't see what he was talking about.

There is NO charring. No sparking. No immediate danger. I sent photos to my Master Electrician brother-in-law and he and 2 other local electrical contractors confirmed this. Both Local contractors provided quotes between $250-$350 for the necessary work. Mr. Sparky quoted me $1800 to replace the ""charred"" breaker box.

I will never ever call on them again, even though I'm sure not all of their estimators are as rude, dismissive, and dishonest as the one I met.

We hired MR Sparky to replace some bathroom exhaust fans that were really loud and older with some new ones. Mark showed up and showed his competence right away, really great guy, knew what he was doing, he even found a short in another socket that could've been a fire hazard which we really appreciate. I highly recommend Mr Sparky for home electrical, we've tried other Sarasota companies and always have been frustrated with the quality of people that have showed up and paid similar prices. MR Sparky is Five stars.

Criminal company with criminal prices. Hired them to do a service change ($6000). Called another electrical company who told me I didn't need a new panel, I only needed a new riser pipe. That company told me that this is a common tactic by Mr Sparky. Their ""electricians"" are paid by commission, take sales classes, and use fear tactics to rob local civilians. I've called around and every local electrical company has said the same thing about Mr Sparky, ""if you got a quote by mr sparky, we can guarantee our cost will be less than 50% of their quote"". Several receptionists even laughed when I told them I got a quote from Mr Sparky. They have the fancy vans, spend millions on advertising, but are by far the worst and most unethical company - and every local electrician knows it. It is a shame that no one has filed a lawsuit and got your business shut down yet.

I am quite surprised at all the positive feedback this company has received on line. While I will say their customer service agent Christian is very strong, their scheduling leaves a lot to be desired. I was originally scheduled for service and received a text the night before they were scheduled to arrive that they were rescheduling me for 6 days later due to a ""conflict"". Hmmmm. When I inquired about this, Christian reached out the ""dispatcher"" and apologized saying they should have called me rather than just text and would waive the service call fee. My concern was why almost an entire WEEK later to put me on the schedule?? He explained they only have 2 techs. Hmmm again. OK, so I agreed to the appt a week later. They were scheduled to arrive today and an hour before the window, I receive a call to say they have an emergency and can't get to me until Monday! NO THANKYOU. Skip this company.

If I could give a zero I would! I was selling a home and inspection found I needed to ground 2 outlets, Mr Sparky rep. Came he quoted the job would cost $1898.00. Fortunately a neighbor was present and had me get a second quote which I did that quote was $380! That's over $1500 difference, I was shocked and since then have heard of 2 more people being ripped off. Please I beg you to never ever use Mr Sparky!
