Unbelievably high prices for services not needed that they push you to use. Prompt, looked at concerns, but really pushed services not needed. Stuck paying a high price for services asked for or buying a service not needed. They said inspection would be free - only free if you buy their service.

The reviews from here did not lie. All I wanted was for an EV charger install quote and what I got was an EV charger quote plus a 8k+ quote for things that as I understood would cause my house to burn down if I did not consider them. Also talking bad about other local companies is a bad practice. Not a good way to try and keep customers. Will not call back for any electrical work.

It's been two years since I had electrical upgrades done at my house.... TWO YEARS! And our house has failed inspection three times now. That's right, it's taken this company over TWO YEARS to properly do simple electrical upgrades at my house. The city inspector said their work is illegal and they will no longer let them pull permits. I regret hiring Mr. Sparky every day that I continue to live here and deal with their stupidity. If we fail inspection again I plan to take them to court for my money back. The original electrician (Zach) was fired, so let that tell you all you need to know about them as a company.

September 15 which is a Thursday we were told by the air conditioning technician that it is an electrical issue for our air conditioning not working. We called Mister Sparky that we got from the Best Pick Reports at Palm Beach County. The customer service was very nice and a technician came out that afternoon and informed us that they cannot fix it without changing out the electrical panel we had as they were not up to code. (this is true as we had the Sylvania inside panel when the house first built and my neighbor just got rejected for insurance because of the panel). We need to replace the electrical panel outside for the air conditioning as well as the inside panel. And since we live in the City of Boca, when the electrician pulls the permit there are other upgrades we need to perform such as the grounding and the smoke detectors in each of the four bedrooms. Bottom line is the quote they gave us is $15,282. We told them that we have to get another quote and gone ahead and paid $350.00 for this diagnosis to the electrician. The technician called the Manager at the office and they said they will give us some discount, but not the full diagnostic cost should we decide to use them for the repairs. Further, he said that it would take them at least a week to get the permit and have to arrange for FPL to shut off the power and indicated if the longer we wait to make the decision, the longer the delay. I google and found another electrician with great reviews and the owner of the company said he will come out and look at it after dinner. I asked what the cost is and he said no charge. He came out that evening and was able to perform the repairs during the weekend and on September 20, the City of Boca came out for the inspection and passed with no issue, and most of all we saved $3,700 compared to what Mister Sparky quoted.

Unless you want to be raped, I would suggest you run from this company. They are a classic bait and switch type company. Asked them to add a couple of junction boxes and run 4ft of electric wire for a couple of Pendent lights and they want to put in surge protector (in which I already have one through Duke Power) and all kinds of other stuff not even relevant to the job in a brand new house.(was just built and finished in May of '22) Joseph, the guy who showed up for the evaluation, then did the ""I will call my Manager to see if I can get a better price"" This company is a complete joke. lol If you have already called for a ""free"" evaluation, do yourself and cancel. Why waste your time waiting for a snake salesmen to show up to your door to attempt to do multiple upsells. Do what we did, send them on their way, or better yet, don't allow them in your home to start with. You have been warned.

I made an appointment for a Wed AM. They called Wed AM and said they couldn't come...at all that day...or the next! Had to reschedule for Friday AM. Ironic that their ad promises ""free repair"" if they're late- which I'd say 2 days late would qualify. Of course the dispatcher didn't know anything about the ""free"" offer, and the scheduler didn't even respond when I mentioned it. No matter, I canceled. All considered, I wouldn't want them to do the work free or otherwise.

My parents who are in their 90's called Mister Sparky for a small outlet issue. The guy then proceeded to inspect their entire electrical system and then told them that they had major issues and needed a new electrical panel and other work. The house was built in 1990 so it's not that old. Unfortunately he scared them with talk of a possible fire danger and they signed a $15,000 contract. By the time they called me it was too late to stop them because they were almost finished. Not only did my parents not need all this work, but it failed inspection big time and they refuse to come back to repair inspection failures. After talking to the inspector myself I found out his company is not only known for overselling, but specifically taking advantage of the elderly who are not knowledgable and very trusting of a sweet talking salesman.
