Service requested was to address a loss of electricity at the meter. I received a quote for the fix which was very low. His boss called the technician while working on the meter and told him to stop. The quote went up to 4500.00 but I needed power back for ac for my ailing father which was suffering from heat illness due to the summer temps. As it was a holiday I was not able to get power back and needed to buy a generator for the ac.

Work done was replace #4 wire short run, and add exterior shut off box. The work was done ok but I feel I was taken advantage of due to double the cost of the work being done. I received a price quote of half the cost but the other Electrician was not able to get the job for a week.

The following week I had breakers tripping and called Mr Sparkys to address the issue. They gave me a price to fix the issues they should have address while here which was 3 times the cost of another price quote I received from another electrician, which repaired the issue the very next day. $1512.00 from sparkys and only paid $450.00 to quality work from another local electrician.

I told MR. Sparkys I could not deal with a company that takes advantage of its customers and does price gouging on a regular basis.

We had a technician come out for a problem with a circuit breaker. Nice guy, said he was relatively new on the job, but couldn't figure out the problem. We scheduled a follow up visit but speaking with an electrician friend, he figured it out right away. We saved ourselves at least an additional $100 for the follow up visit.

We did have some initial issues but Mr Zack ensured everything was resolved and went above and beyond to do so. It is not uncommon to have an issue or miscommunication in business but what is important is when a company tries to resolve the situation - and Mister Sparky exceeded our expectations in this area.

Stay away! Overpriced and incompetent. Charged me $400 to rewire a dishwasher, screwed it up so the dishwasher would only come on when the garbage disposal came on! They sent a person to repair it and charged me another $195 to FIX THEIR MISTAKE.

Stay away go local.

I've had them out several times in a couple years. Mostly installation of new outlets but also basic electrical repair. The electricians have always been very personable and professional. Most importantly, it's done right. Not cheap, but correct to code. They've always let me know if ""you don't need that"" honestly but also, ""doing this would be a good decision"" and I appreciate the expertise. I suspect they'd not be too ready to ""rig it and make it work cheap"" sort of work but if you want a real electrician to do it to code and make a long-term repair, they're great.

Mike showed up to fix an outlet in the kitchen that was not working. He spent 90 minutes testing every box in the house. Oddly enough, the broken outlet started working and every other outlet in the kitchen/dining room stopped! He gave me a quote of $1000 to fix the problem and get the outlets working. Now, I'm not an electrician, and I cannot presume to understand the workings of this house, but I most certainly can smell something fishy.
I would recommend avoiding this service merely on the premise that after the electrician left, there was but one working outlet in the kitchen/dining room. So, things ended up worse than before. ¯\_(?)_/¯
