Yep - they were good.

Two days from putting our house up for sale, I find a circuit full of plugs that don't work. My meager electrical troubleshooting skills find that the polarity is reversed and 70 volts at the plugs. (That's all bad.) Why? I dunno.

Called Mr. Sparky in a panic - they sent Tyler out right away. NICE dude. Knew what the problem was right away. Solving it - yah, that took a little longer and involved cutting a couple of holes in the ceiling and wall (did I MENTION we were trying to sell the house??). AUGH! But THAT I could fix.

The house sold in two days. Gotta love the seller's market! But the home inspector found a Couple of Things Wrong with the wiring, starting with the gas fireplace not working. Except it had worked before. And a couple of ceiling fans in the garage weren't working. And the inspector reported that the neutral busses were miswired in the main breaker panel: he said you can't have white and ground wires connected to the same neutral bars. Plus the wiring in the panel was ugly. Aaaand we're getting down to the wire on closing on the house.

Tyler swooped back in more quickly than expected - woo hoo! He found the switch for the fans (insert embarrassed emoji here), quickly rewired the fireplace and got us a letter that said the main breaker panel DID conform to the National Electrical Code. I also paid him to sort out the mess in the panel caused by the many, many contractors that had had their fingers in the house wiring over the years, more to calm the new buyer down than to fix a horrible problem. Money well spent - once sold a house where the owner imagined a problem and I didn't ""fix"" it to make them feel better. Mild nightmares resulted. ""/

Long story short: the house will be sold with everything working and (I hope) with a very happy, comfortable buyer. Tyler and Mr. Sparky did good.

I love these guys! They do fantastic work and they can come out fairly quick. Chris was my technician this go around and he was fantastic. I needed to add an outlet above the fireplace, under my stairs and to move a light switch from outside to inside my pantry. He did a great job!!

I needed outdoor floodlights on the back of my house to illuminate my huge backyard. I read the reviews for Mr. Sparky on a couple of sites and found glowing reviews. So, I called for a quote. Adam was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. I received my quote and Adam came out in a few days and did the job. He worked very extensively in installing the floodlights perfectly!! And also installed a 3-switch system on my wall to operate my light, my fan, and the floodlights. They happened to be positioned perfectly and now I can access my yard in the dark with comfort. The whole back yard is lit, and I am very happy. What a great representative of the company. The quote was very reasonable. Would patronize again!!

These reviews are obviously manipulated. I called for a quote on upgrading from 100 amp fuse box to 200 amp breaker box. Did my research and expected a high of $2K. The two other quotes I got from other companies came in at $2800 and $1900; Mister Sparky quote $7400. If they didn't want to do the job, just say so. Don't waste your time or money on Mister Sparky Huntsville, Alabama. If they sell one idiot, they've made the money for 4 jobs.

Main fuse blew at my house and I called every electrician in town to see about getting it repaired. Mister Sparky was able to come out the same day, provided a reasonable quote and finished the job that same day. Mark, Adam, and Matt all provided great service and I appreciate their honesty in regards to other estimates I got from other companies that were much higher in cost. If it wasn't for them I would have been out a few thousand more dollars for the same repairs.

We had numerous electrical issues that needed attention. When I phoned today, Candy said that there was an availability in about thirty minutes. Nick Murray, the electrician, sent a text with his photo and arrived on time. Provided an explanation and estimate in advance and he got the jobs done! Positive attitude, patience, and knowledge! We will definitely call Mr. Sparky again and ask for Nick.

Called them out for a 2nd quote on an emergency job. They were busy but Candy found a way to fit us in so we would have hot water. Ashley came out the same day and did the job next day to coincide with our plumbimg work (our hot water heater went out and Ashley ran the lines so the new tank could be put in our garage instead of under the house). Thank you so much for making time for us. Always fairly priced and they do great work! Always leave the house clean and they are just nice people.

I had a great experience with the team at Mr Sparky, we had a number of electrical issues with a new house we bought. Matt came out and did a detailed inspection, and caught a number of things the inspector missed. Matt did a great job, got everything fix and running to code, he gave me some helpful suggestions as well. If we have any problems in the future I'll be sure to call them.
