Do not use these scam artists....used them, guy came out and literally unplugged an appliance and then plugged it into another outlet and charged me $600 no lie. I called to complain and still haven't received a call back.

I requested a service call to Mr. Sparky to look into my rental property. My tenant called me that power cut off in her bed room. Technician arrived at the job site and called me that he has to replace the bad circuit and gave me an estimate for $827. I asked him if there is any discount. He offered $785. In order to realize that it will be something complicated and for the inconvenience of my tenant I agreed to pay. When he emailed me the receipt, it showed replacing 5 receptacles and 1 switch. I went to my property and looked at the job done was a rip off. Tenant told me that he replaced those receptacles and switch in 30 minutes. The actual cost of receptacles and switch from Home Depot is not more than $25. I was very disappointed and will never use Mr. Sparky again.

I would give them less than 1 star, if I could. I have an older mother and she lives by herself. She had called these guys in order to help with an outdoor outlet for her electric awning. She called Mr. Sparky and they came, reviewed the situation, charged her $361 to fix a receptical... one receptical. A $1 receptical (this should have been around $100 max), Fine - she needed it fixed and she accepted it. Mr. Sparky leaves and she tries it for herself - IT DOESN'T WORK.
She calls Mr. Sparky and they arrive the next day (a different technician) where he then proceeds to explain that he doesn't know what's wrong and would have to talk with the previous tech to get more specifics before proceeding on anything. Following that statement, he goes around the rest of the house stating that he should replace 6 recepticals in the kitchen and it that work would end up being $700.... on outlets that are ALREADY working. They wouldn't even fix the one that WASN'T working. Why would she want their help on ones that are working already?
My mother asked about any sort of discount or refund because the first charge of $361 was paid and her issue was not fixed. Mr. Sparky said they would not issue a refund because the issue was not with their work.
I'm sorry. WHAT? You've got to be joking me. I have NEVER seen such horrible customer service and such a BLATANT attempt to take advantage of an elder. I'm writing this to make sure no one else experiences this and for anyone else who's helping a parent or grandparent to BEWARE of this company.
Find someone else. They're overpriced and crooks.

This company is a total scam. We had a power surge when the line from the street broke, and we immediately shut down the breakers to the house. Mister Sparky had GA Power come out and reattach the line, but they also said we cant turn our electricity back on until we replace the whole electrical system in the house - at $10-15k. He was encouraging me to file a claim with my insurance company on the spot as the GA Power guy was still fixing the line. He said he will deal with insurance and get it approved.
I brought in another electrician, and he told me it was fine to turn electricity on and he did - and everything was fine. We had a couple appliances that had been affected by the surge, but otherwise everything was working just as it had before the line broke. And of course, the GA Power guy was awesome - doing a thankless job with a great attitude! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

SCAM ALERT. This company deserves a 0 rating. They tried to convince us that a new electrical panel was needed in our 40+ year old house and to borrow $12,000 to pay for it. An honest electrician fixed the shorted light fixture for $150.00 including the new fixture.
Yes, the electrical codes have changed in 40 years, but every house built since then does not have to be updated to the current new home codes.
These jerks will try to rip you off any way possible.

GA Power told me my meter was overheating because of corroded aluminum lugs that hold the meter in place. I got 3 estimates over the phone and they were $500, $600, and $10,000. Guess which one was Mr. Sparky? Yep, the $10k because he insisted on replacing my entire panel and all the wiring to it.
If I had $9,400 to give away it certainly wouldn't be to a company so flippant, curt, and dismissive as Mr. Sparky.

I had a tech come by to look at the work we needed done; first of all he didn't even ask about the work we needed, he start in on trying to find problems with our electricity, he found one problem, said he was surprised.
So he quote me a price of 3500 dollars to change out all the plugs in the house, not including the work we needed done, he said I'll replace the lights for free.
Then he finally gave us a quote for two lights units to be replaced in the bathroom, one socket on the wall and two light switches on the wall all coming to 1600 dollars.
This company is a joke and charged me 39 dollars for the visit. Never use these people, scam artist at best.

Quoted one price over the phone e and when tech arrived it was a totally different price with out any additional services required.
It's one thing to pay a $100 verses $400
I would think twice about using this Buiness.

Mr. Sparky, mr joke: can't remember the electrician's name but, he was a real airhead! When he came into my house, I asked him where is the reset button on my GFC outlet, he said there was none, I'll have to troubleshoot this issue to see which outlets are bad and when he went outside to look at the outlet that didn't have a GFC reset I went into the garage and to my surprise I found the outlet with GFC reset button and pushed it and problem fixed. As I was coming out of the garage and he was coming back inside my house, I said I found the reset button & it's now working. He said well, you must have the magic touch because I pushed that button 3 times and it didn't work. I said well, all outlets are working now so you can leave and how much do I owe you! He said I have to write an order up for troubleshooting. I said there was no troubleshooting. I just reset button. I feel he tried to run up a huge fictitious bill and scam me out of money. Not very honest, I will never ever call or recommend them again! Wish I could post ZERO stars because they definitely deserve this rating!

Honest and upfront about repairs needed, I would hire them again. The came in short notice and advise us on what we should do before inspection.
