I called to have a lightbulb replaced that was 15 ft. high and my ladder wouldn't reach. David showed up and immediately tried to sell me on all these other services other than what I called about. I told him no thank you and let's just focus on the task at hand. He quoted me $225 for what amounted to about 5 minutes worth of work. I understand it involves a ladder but that is still unreasonable. He told me he would take off the $90 ""trip charge"" (what a ripoff and I told them when I called that I wasn't going to pay any fees for estimates or trip charges) but I told him that was still too high and I wouldn't pay more than $70-$75 because it was such an easy job. He went on and on about having to drive over an hour to my house and that he couldn't change the bulb for such a ""low price"". He then ended things by saying ""well please keep us in mind for any future services you might have..."", hahahaha do you really think I'm ever going to call Mister Sparky again after that?? They turned down the job I called them for and think I would ever use them again after that? They literally turned down free money and a chance to make something for easy work and walked away with nothing just to prove their point. He talked about driving a great distance and refused to take my money to even pay for his gas, that shows you their business practices and I would not recommend them to anyone. I used them in the past and they were always just ""okay"" even though their prices are higher than most but I finally had to draw the line somewhere and I saw their true colors. They only accept jobs to get in and quote you higher prices hoping you will accept it under pressure, very fraudulent business model. Be aware and stay clear!!!

Super pleased showed up and resolved our tripping breaker issue very quickly, found damaged wire outside. He was very thorough and noted issues I was unaware of. I was able to get all the repairs done the same day. I checked other companies and Mister Sparky came out on top!!!!!!

The absolute worst people to deal with. You will be on the phone back and forth 20 times with them to get a service technician out - and guess what, he is not coming, even though they tell you he is on the way. There are so many better choices than these incompetents!

The job was done satisfactorily by a friendly professional. But, he spent a significant amount of time trying to get me to add services in excess of $1,000. I declined, and agreed to the installation of a ceiling light fixture and dimmer switch only. The quoted cost was OBSCENE at $330, but I agreed to it nonetheless. The final bill had an additional $113 that I never agreed to, and it was removed. Seriously overpriced. I cannot recommend.

I would give zero stars but doesn't allow me to. They are very unprofessional, after I paid for their services with a cashier check. They continued to say I was trying to stiff them of payment for the work that was completed. Which was incorrect and then they stereotyped me to ask me what I do for a living because I didn't look like I could afford almost $10k worth of work. I will never use them again or refer them to anyone

I definitely want to recommend Mister Sparky of Lakeland. Super professional and knowledgeable. David was so nice explaining everything to me when I asked a bunch of questions. I got a brand new pendant installation and when I tell you he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the look was impressive. Daylan was super sweet and knowledgeable as well. They were quick, professional and extremely talented.
