I really tried to like Mister Sparky. Their marketing and branding is great. They just can't ever seem to do any complex jobs. Maybe they are great for fan installs only.

They just recently they came out and just like last time they try and upsell me a complete re-wire of my house 5 minutes into it. Granted there's issues, but a complete rewire? really? before even looking everywhere? I could see a couple problem areas that can be fixed in isolation. They did this last time too five years ago. Then they annoyed me but thought I'd give them another chance.

The people they send out are young, like low 20's. My house requires someone with more experience due to the complexities of it being built onto two times, rehabbed and re-wired with all the old wires still up in the attic.

I wanted one circuit disconnected from another with it's own dedicated run, but then all the ""drama"" comes up about everything that's not up to code and the liabilities involved in changing things, and they don't want to do the work. It's like it's either re-wire the whole house or they only do fan installs. They always need ""manager"" approval to do any real work. They couldn't tell which cable was the right one and couldn't test them all. I literally asked, how about you just shake the cable and I tell you which one is moving at the outlet? Baffled, then a liability issue response. I told them to forget it and went with someone else.

So if you need a fan installed or a light fixed call them up but if you have real complex electrician work go with someone else.

This is not a knock on the guy that came out, he was nice and professional.

The physical service was excellent but the pricing was borderline fraud (if the right authorities get ahold of this). Great email response throw out offer on their estimate of $19. They call it a booking fee but not until they get there is when they tell you $119. I cancelled a cheaper appointment because of this but I needed it fixed now. Sorry sparky, great electrician but FRAUDulant approach.

We had an excellent experience with Ilya Chirokov and Pat Papasavas and all the people who helped us get our Breaker panel replaced overnight. They pulled the permit, replaced the equipment, installed new whole- house surge protector and outdoor outlets and fixed a tricky switch problem which were found during inspection. All completed and ready for inspection within 24 hours, with a full transferable guarantee on Everything! We didn't need to lift a finger- they did it all, neatly, cheerfully and courteously. Wish I could work with them all the time - they are wonderful.

These people should be reported to BBB, which may be my next step. Just a basic install of a dishwasher and overhead microwave in a 1964 home, turned into a need for a new panel box inside and out, and a smoke detector (which they said was required by some law), hardwired to the outside??? Are you ready for the total quote? OMG!!! $6,700. Of course, they do finance. I'm appalled that these people are allowed to scam people, especially maybe those who aren't so knowledgeable and have family support to say, DON'T YOU DARE use them!

This company is PUSHY! I inquired through HomeAdvisor for electrician recommendations and Mr. Sparky was one of the companies that came up. Before I could even call them, they were calling me multiple times every few minutes (as indicated by caller ID) but not leaving messages. When I called them back, I was told there would be a charge for someone to come out and give an estimate. I decided to think about it and told the girl I would call again if I was interested. Within minutes of hanging up, she was calling me back! Since then, I have received more phone calls and an email asking when I wanted to schedule an electrician. Today I finally had to tell them not to call or email again because I've already had my electrical project completed by another company simply because Mr. Sparky was too high pressure.

They did a great job installing new power box. After paying a large chuck of money, we get to spend more repairing the big holes they left in the wall. They also drilled into the wall and didn't seam to realize or care that they broke the shelf on the other side. Thought that getting a professional would cause less problems not more. Next time I'll try someone else.

These guys showed up fast, did great work, and were very friendly! They fixed my wiring, gave me some great advice, and the price was more than fair!!

I am so glad that we chose Mister Sparky for our electrical work. I liked that we did not have to commit to have anything done when we booked the appointment and the quote was free. We had two electricians from Mister Sparky come out which made the project completion seamless.
Travis was very friendly and had new ideas for the best way to install power for our deck project. After agreeing to the services and pricing that worked a second electrician was called in to complete the project. Nathan was very friendly and efficient. We feel like Travis & Nathan did a great job and are comfortable with what we paid for the service. Mister Sparky is definitely going to be who we call in the future!

I was really impressed with Adrian and Mr. Sparky's service, one of the best contractors I have worked with. We are in town assisting an elderly relative with some health issues and getting her house back in order. There were 2 light fixtures that are probably 30 years old that did not work and needed to be replaced, I am handy, so I dived right in, I found some very odd issues with the wiring and needed to get someone with more electrical knowledge. We called Mr. Sparky after trying to schedule with at least 6 other electricians, all of them were at least 3 weeks out for service. The first appointment they had was 2 days out, we were overjoyed to schedule! Around 3 hours later, Mr. Sparly called and said they had some schedule changes and could come out that very afternoon, AMAZING, SAME DAY SERVICE!

Adrian arrived and was professional, knowledgeable and very likable. He did a full assessment of the electrical system and offered us several options, from just solving our problem, to addressing a couple urgent needs, to bringing the whole house up to current standards with some options to protect us for the future. We picked a middle of the road approach. Adrian fixed our light fixtures, redid the wiring leading to a ceiling fan on the lanai and checked several other electrical concerns we had. He did all of this in a couple hours, was friendly and entertaining and most importantly, caring and compassionate to my elderly mother in law. The price was right on quote and not out of line with what I expected.

I have worked in the trades and back home I work in real estate and deal with contractors all the time, you rarely run into a company as dedicated to customer service as what I saw today with Adrian and Mr. Sparky. We have more work to do on this house in the future and for electrical needs Mr. Sparky will be our first and only call.

Two electricians came out promptly and took care of my issue right away. They were extremely helpful, friendly, and very courteous guys. I would definitely recommend using them as an electrician!
