Don't even bother to call this company. I called them for an estimate an outdoor ceiling fan and they cancelled me TWICE. The last time without notice, I had to call them to find out what happened with the technician after waiting for 1 hour, and after the technician himself called me to let me know ""I'm on my way, in 20 min I'll be there"". Called the office and the explanation was ""oh, he had an emergency"". So why don't you call me to let me know?? So no 'spark' for Mr. Sparky.

We were replacing our central air conditioning system in Coral Gables and needed to upgrade our circuit boards to accommodate the new air conditioning units. Robert from Mr. Sparky arrived right on time and I immediately felt like this was the company to do the job. He explained in detail all the work that was needed and answered all of my questions in a way that was both respectful and easy to understand. While doing this he even fixed my garage door opener which had not worked in months. I didn't even ask, he saw me struggling with it and just pitched in and 5 minutes later the door was opening and closing perfectly! Now that's how you earn someone's business!

Zak and Oscar were our primary electricians on the job. Both of them were personable, knowledgeable and professional. They did thorough work and when they were finished I was certain that we had a top of the line electrical system. This was confirmed for me when the air conditioner installer commented on the quality of both their workmanship and materials. The air conditioning replacement on this old house is very complicated so it was such a relief that the electrical part of the project was handled by such a group of pros without a single problem. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs electrical work, they really know what they are doing and they are very pleasant to deal with as well. I was treated with respect and courtesy from the first phone call right through the completion of the project. Mr. Sparky is my go to electrical company from now on...

I will never use MR SPARKY again. I called for someone to fix my overhead fan. They sent me someone and he charged me for the job not done. The fan stopped working ten mins after he left. He came back the next day and charged me again for a job not done, same problem. If he knew anything about fans he would have first tried to reprogram it.
I called a qualified electrician who really knew how fans work. He brought a tool that reprograms the fan and it was repaired in 10 mins with no problems since. Mr Sparky low balls the estimate and sends people who misrepresent their skills.
Their low 19 dollar estimate was just an excuse to get into my apartment. I was charged over 300 for nothing.
Their man also was constantly soliciting for new business and using his family situation to try and play on my sympathy.
They were unprofessional. incompetent and unethical.
No, MR SPARKY WILL NEVER SET FOOT ON ANY OF MY PROPERTIES

I hired this company to rewire my entire house. After assuring me that they would permits, they failed to do so. After more than 5 months they finally pulled the permits. We paid over $13,000. and after two years THEY DID NOT FINISH THE JOB. The company makes promises that are never kept. I called many times to set up appointment to come back and their associates refused to give me an appointment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CROOKS.

Critical: Professionalism

Today Mister Sparky tried to swindle my 88 year old mother and my 88 year old disabled Korean War veteran father.

This morning I received a call from my brother asking me to get to my parents home quickly because most of the home had lost power and a Mister Sparky tech was at their home.

My brother stated that our mom was crying uncontrollably because Mister Sparky had advised her that the home could catch on fire if the repairs which they stated were extensive, were not done right away.

Mister Sparky told my mother that the repair would cost 8,000.00.

I cancelled my work appointments and drove to my parents home as quickly as I could to console my mother and assess the situation.

When I arrived at my parents home, my mother told me that Mister Sparky was trying to get them financed for the 8,000.00 needed to repair their home, which included extensive rewiring and a new electrical panel.

We told the Mister Sparky technician that we would get back to them at a later time because we needed to discuss the repairs before deciding.

The technician left reluctantly.

Here comes the good part!
I contacted a local electrician that was recommended by my business colleagues.

Once he arrived, it took him about half hour to asses the problems that Mister Sparky diagnosed the home to have.

The local electrician's assement was that the house had no such problems and proceeded with repairing the actual problem he did find.

$60 DOLLARS was the bill from the local electrician SIXTY DOLLARS!

The claims by Mister Sparky that the home needed rewiring and a new electrical panel were not true!
The breakers were loose and the rear of the panel dirty, that was all!

What Mister Sparky tried to do to my elderly parents is disgusting!!!
and I can only imagine how many unfortunate people have been ripped off.
I clearly do not recommend this crooked company.

Oh and the owner has the same generic response to negative reviews, I doubt she or he even reads the negative reviews.

Pierre and Allen were the consummate professionals, as advertised by Mister Sparky. Although the price was quite steep, the work was completed in a timely manner. Both electricians have an exceptional knowledge of electrical wiring, electrical compatibility and suggestions on how to keep my house safe and in good condition. I appreciate their efforts.

I called Misty Sparky to close a permit. In August 2019, Mr Sparky sent their electrician to my condo and after the electrician took a look what I needed to do, I was quoted $3000 for the job. I was desperate to get the permit closed and agreed to them doing the job. Now in
Feb 2020, not only haven't I closed the permit ( didn't pass the inspection), Mister Sparky wants to charge me more. MY Advice to you: be smart, DON'T USE Mister Sparky. They don't do what they are supposed to do and when I had tried to get hold of someone at Mister Sparky for many months since the initial job, I have never got a callback as they promised.

I'm not one who looks forward to home repairs and installations due to my unfortunate history with contractors. They are a dread I rather not deal with and unfortunately, even though it's a necessary part of home ownership, I rather delay and procrastinate the work because of past failed interactions and bad outcomes. Not so with Mr. Sparky! The process from the moment you call to set up an appointment to completion of work is easy, efficient and done with the utmost professionalism. They are accommodating to busy schedules and make sure the appointments are on time - no disappearance acts!! While working, the professionals explain the work and proceed with care making sure is done right! My work was completed by Allen and Pierre who were courteous, extremely knowledgeable, incredibly accommodating and patient! Pierre and Allen were able to fix an electric problem that I had for 13 years and other electricians were never able to fix, improve the output of the electric box and install recently acquired pendant lamps. Thank you guys and M. Sparky for the great work and stress free experience!
