Second time I've used these fine ladies & gentlemen. I should have reviewed them the first time, but the second time jinxed me all too soon. I've used this firm before yelp in different parts of the city. Different workers, same great service. When in electrical doubt, call Mr.Sparky !

Good service and easy to work with. However, they ask the owner to be present in person, authorize service and make payments in person. You cannot have someone else as your representative if you happen to be unavailable at the moment they come for service.

Centerpoint caused a disaster at our house - I was referred to a different electric company that could not help immediately. On a chance we called Mr. Sparky. They sent Matt sooner then expected, he did a great job. Put up with questions and was patient. VERY HAPPY I CALLED THEM! This was an after hours emergency call too!

I had a minor electrical issue that needed repair before final inspection of approval to lease an apartment which I own. Salat, from Mr. Sparky (Katy, TX) arrived promptly. I was told the ground wire and the outlet wire needed to be connected. The following week, the property failed inspection again, due to improper wiring. I reported the issue to Jessica, the manager but she did not offer a resolution to correct the faulty repair. Consequently, I had to pay another electrical company to make the needed repair. This problem cost me extra money as well as caused delay in leasing my property.

We had some electrical wiring issues and they were extremely thorough, explained everything to us and showed us the problems and repaired everything! Very satisfied and can't say enough great things! Mr. Sparky reached out to me and explained why they had not resolved my issue I spoke of a few days ago. The gentleman who was supposed to reach out to me, separated from the company and my issue was one that was left hanging unresolved. I spoke to two local owners and they addressed all my concerns very effectively. My issue was never the quality of work, but rather pricing and after-action response. They addressed both issues and I can now give them 5 stars. I will use them next time I have electrical needs.

Sean was on time and professional. He explained everything thoroughly and was easy about doing something not originally part of the call. Edgar came to help him and they turned a 6-hour job into a 2.5 hour job. I'd highly recommend Mr. Sparky. Try to get Sean and Edgar. Good guys!

Technician did an excellent job but I was charged double what any other electrician would have charged. Here is a quote from BBB for a single fuse being replaced. I was charged $315 for a job that had a maximum charge of $160:

Replacing breakers: replace a standard 15-60 amp circuit breaker for between $35-$60 each. Some homes require a replacement of a standard Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) 15-20 amp circuit breakers and each breaker will cost between $45-$75. These breakers prevent electrical fires by detecting dangerous electrical arcs. Both breakers would be projected to take about an hour of labor for installation and cost between $65-$85. The total estimated cost of labour and materials would, then, range between $100-$160 each.
